thumper88
Having an issue with WinKawaks. Got it all setup on its own, works fine. Now trying to run it through GameEx works, but only when I remove the "-fullscreen" command...which I definitely want to keep. The issue is when I have: "WinKawaks.exe" [ROM] -fullscreenThe emulator opens up, and I see a lot of black...and the title bar/border of the window "Kawaks 1.62 - Paused - Magical Drop 3" for example.I've been playing around with settings for hours....getting no where. That command-line should work just fine. So something else is causing it to pause. Could you please export your config so we can see what else is going on? fRequEnCy
I would have thought maybe there was an unneeded Sendkeys or something that was being sent. Adultery
Can you change this:Autopause=1To:autopause=0In your WinKawaks config and see if it makes any difference?I haven't got it so I'm just stabbing in the dark here.
thumper88
Well I had played with that AutoPause setting before, seemed to have no effect.I switched to Nebula...just couldn't figure out why Kawaks was so dependent on Pause....Nebula had problems of it's own....started off with a config from the setup wizard....ROMs would work in Gui mode 1 (window) perfectly, but ROMs would load to a blank colored screen in Gui mode 0 (full screen).Ended up going to EmuAsylum to grab the Bios files, but got the emulator straight from the official Nebula site.Got that all setup....same problem. I noticed the Nebula.exe began with an uppercase "N", while the nebula.ini and such began with a lowercase "n".So I changed that.....and guess what, it works..... Fusion, Project64, ZSNES, FCEUX, Stella, VisualBoyAdvance....all have been extremely easy to get working, except these two....
thumper88
OK...was still having problems loading some ROMs...would freeze during ram check of a game....or I would still get the random blank color screen.Changed fullscreen video settings to match windowed settings, "match machine resolution", turned off "vsync", left triple buffering off.Works flawless now...thought I had some bad ROMs, but it turned out to be incompatible video settings...
