Actually it means "Pause GameEx Playlist audio and run MAME with no sound;3" neat little tool in the Config folder of GameEx called config.csv - had actually forgotten it is a trove of settings references without having to go into Advanced Configuration or Setup Wizard to look! Yes, all of you are right. I missed to pay attention to that setting. Now I have MAMEAudioMode=1, which means "Pause Playlist audio and run MAME with sound". This is the best choice for me.
