22:58:16.4 3/2/2008: 1. Ensure you have the latest version of DirectX installed.

22:58:16.4 3/2/2008: 2. Ensure you have the latest Manufacturer provided video card drivers.

22:58:16.4 3/2/2008: NOTE: Windows/Microsoft Update does not contain the latest.

22:58:16.4 3/2/2008: NOTE: Manufacturer normally means ATI, NVidia, or Intel. Not the brand.

22:58:16.4 3/2/2008: 3. If you do not have a modern video card try the following. 1. Turn off advanced Graphics. 2. Try a lower resolution. 3. Try turning on and using 16-bit colour

22:58:16.4 3/2/2008: 4. Ensure any required video codecs are installed.

22:58:16.4 3/2/2008: 5. Try a different theme, or try running the theme at the resolution it was designed for

22:58:16.4 3/2/2008:

22:58:16.4 3/2/2008: Closing database connection

22:58:16.5 3/2/2008: GameEx is exiting with errors

22:58:18.3 3/2/2008: ERRORS DETECTED: EXITING

It was working before both of them. Now i can get in some times, but my game pad doesn't work in game ex very well and I get no picture from any emulator (nestopia, znes) WTF!!

Pisses me off cause i got all the emulators and controls working on my new mini-itx machine I built specifically to run GameEx. Took me a weekend to get everything right.

No body is running into this problem? :(

Hi,

Not personally, but have you tried uninstalling DirectX 10? Never tried it myself, but I imagine if you got to Add/Remove programs, tick show updates at the top, you should get an option to roll back. It was like that with Media PLayer 10, I remember, but I don't know about DirectX.

Good luck!

Johnny

Just realized, this is already being addressed in another topic. http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?showtopic=5068
