qcol
Maybe it is not a rocket, but not 486 Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G4400 @ 3.30GHz, 3300 MHz / 8GB RAM / GeForce GTX 660, NVIDIA I wonder where this difference comes from at different tables.... It is possible that the dynamics of animation is important here (more details to compress?) Today it took 8 minutes to make a video for Monster Bash Quote 10:58:43.6 28.03.2019: Launch System 10:58:43.6 28.03.2019: Waiting for threads 10:58:43.6 28.03.2019: Disposing display 10:58:45.1 28.03.2019: D:\VPX\VPinballX.exe /play -"D:\VPX\tables\Monster Bash X - NZ&TT 1.3.vpx" 10:59:07.6 28.03.2019: Hidden Visual Pinball Editor Window 10:59:11.5 28.03.2019: Found PinMAME ROM: mb_106b.nv 11:00:15.1 28.03.2019: Recording videos 11:00:42.3 28.03.2019: FFMPEG.exe -i "D:\PinballX Records\Desktop\Desktop 2019.03.28 - 11.00.22.20.mp4" -vf "vflip,hflip" -c:v libx264 -an -crf 20 -preset slower -pix_fmt yuv420p -f mp4 "D:\PinballX\MEDIA\Visual Pinball\Table Videos\Monster Bash X - NZ&TT 1.3.mp4" 11:08:45.8 28.03.2019: Capture Playfield via GPU video success 11:08:45.8 28.03.2019: FFMPEG.exe -f gdigrab -framerate 30 -offset_x 2560 -offset_y 0 -video_size 1600x1200 -t 00:00:10 -i desktop -c:v libx264 -crf 0 -preset ultrafast "c:\users\user\appdata\local\temp\tmp1132.mp4" 11:09:11.4 28.03.2019: FFMPEG.exe -i "c:\users\user\appdata\local\temp\tmp1132.mp4" -c:v libx264 -an -crf 20 -preset slower -pix_fmt yuv420p -f mp4 "D:\PinballX\MEDIA\Visual Pinball\Backglass Videos\Monster Bash X - NZ&TT 1.3.mp4" 11:11:23.4 28.03.2019: Capture Backglass video success 11:11:23.4 28.03.2019: Exit System Control Pressed
Mike_da_Spike
To be honest. I'm not sure. I normally create my video's via gamemanagers and select to skip existing videos. I will run it for a while until it is finished. Ffmpeg is not created (as far as I know) by @Tom Speirs, but he is using it. And you are right... it's indeed not a rocket
