Mike_da_Spike
is the list with filters (as shown in screenshot) adjustable? in older versions of pbx, you can also filter on Zen FX2, Pinball Arcade etc. I want to filter on all my differnt simulators I use and also creates a filter for my wife, my kids etc. Is that possible ? osc
Yes. You need to manually create additional lists (xml files) that will appear as additional filters in PBX. These are placed within the (sub-folders of) the PinballX/Databases folder. On my system, I have 4 such xml files for Future Pinball: - Future Pinball.xml (all FP tables) - Future PinballEM.xml (only Electro-Mechanical replica FP tables) - Future PinballSS.xml (only Solid State replica FP tables) - Future PinballVirtual.xml (user-created original FP tables) Similar for Visual Pinball. I have a further "Groups" folder - which points to the VP/FP/Pinball FX etc. folders. Using this, I can (for example) filter by EM tables only - which points to both the VIsual/Future Pinball EM.xml files - and displays ALL EM tables on the machine - irrespective of emulator/app. I can filter by emulator/app - i.e. only Future Pinball, only Visual Pinball. I can filter by only Visual Pinball SS or EM tables etc. Basically, it's feasible to create any categories you need....it just takes time.
Mike_da_Spike
Thanks ! That did the trick. I created multiple XML files in the groups folder that points to the XML files in the database folders. Now I'm able to select on the "simulator". Thanks for info OSC Edit : Now I understand the "manage groups" button in game manager too. That will create the XML files in the groups folder (I did it manually)
BrandonLaw
This is helpful, but...can we somehow keep the 'info menu' off, and edit these to exist in the 'exit' menu instead? I like the lack of clutter, and just the one menu for exiting.
