Jeff Milliken
Hi, I am pretty new to this and while I have Gameex running my mame games I would love to get my ServoSticks set up so they automatically swith between 4 way and 8 way. Could someone kindly explain how I get plugins installed and working in general and specifically for this purpose? I see the plugin section in setup wizard but can't figure out how to use it. Thanks in advance. Edited August 25, 2018 by tthurman Moved to correct forum: GameEx>General
Tom Speirs
What exactly are you not understanding? What is not working?
Jeff Milliken
In GameEx AE setup wizard there is a section to download plugins. I checked the box for the servosstik plugin and hit download, a progress bar shows for a second and that's as far a I get. Nothing shows up in the configure plugin section. the joysticks definitely don't switch automatically.
Adultery
How about a log or an ini? Or something for us to look at? Right now we have nothing to go on other than a vague description of something that could really be caused by about a million and one things. Jeff Milliken
Sorry, please see attached. not to hijack my own thread but if anyone also sees something in there that could be responsible for copying every game .png file onto my desktop I would like to stop that. Its killing my load up speed. Log File.lnk
Draco1962
Attach both copies of your gameex.ini and log.txt files in your reply. We can't open the file you attached. Thanks.

Tom Speirs
Hi, Please try downloading the plugin manually from the repository on the forums here and extract to the gameex plugins folder. Also try using the repositiory manager rather than setup wizard. Please report your findings. Your log shows that no plugins are even enabled. Jeff Milliken
There are definitely files in the plugin folder, see attached screen capture. I don't think I have anything called repository manager, I did a search in the GameEx folder and nothing came up.
