zorg2000k
Hi All, Looking for some help, I can't seem to get LEDBlinky to trigger on PinballX launch, No LED's light up. I enabled debug mode and got the following : [07/05/2018 21:28:00] LEDBlinky_GX.dll> Sending event message [FE_START]. [07/05/2018 21:28:00] LEDBlinky_GX.dll> Sending event message [EMULATOR_SELECTED PinballX]. [07/05/2018 21:28:04] LEDBlinky_GX.dll> Sending event message [EMULATOR_SELECTED VISUAL PINBALL PHYSICS 5]. [07/05/2018 21:28:04] LEDBlinky_GX.dll> Sending event message [GAME_SELECTED ACDC (STERN) (2012)]. [07/05/2018 21:30:26] LEDBlinky_GX.dll> Sending event message [FE_QUIT]. I have used the PinballX plugin manager to enable the LEDBlinky_PX.dll. I've attached my ini files if they help as well. And screenshots. Any help would be fantastic. zorg2000k
Seem to be getting these errors in debug log. Not sure why, "Invalid Event Format []. First param must be a valid EventID." If I try the light my Visual Pinball games through LEDBlinkyControlsEditor.exe they light the correct buttons and speak. When I launch PinballX no lights or when I launch the games from there. Using IPAC Ultimate IO controller. [07/09/2018 07:15:38] LEDBlinky_GX.dll> LEDBlinky PinballX Plugin v6.2.0 [07/09/2018 07:15:38] LEDBlinky_GX.dll> Sending event message [FE_START]. arzoo
@Tom Speirs, here's what seems to be happening; The PinballX plugin for LEDBlinky uses the Windows user32.dll SendMessage function to communicate with LEDBlinky. The LEDBlinky log indicates that LEDBlinky is receiving messages from the plugin but the data payload (lParam) is missing. So basically LEDBlinky is receiving blank commands. If this were new code I would say there’s a bug, but the PinballX plugin has been in use since January 2015 and nobody else has reported this issue. I’m stumped! Hopefully Tom can provide some advice on your reply. I've ordered a new controller card and mini ipac to test in case there is an issue with the ultimateipac controller. arzoo
@Tom Speirs I believe this issue has been resolved - the LEDBlinky GameEx plugin was being used rather than the PinballX plugin.
Tom Speirs
No worries. It's actually kinda funny!
Tom Speirs
How, now I see the issue. Please check the news forum for information about the new 64 bit version of PinballX. You need to install the 32 bit version of PinballX
Tom Speirs
The speak game name plugin appears to be working. Only tested 32 bit version. Is it a particular even that is not working? The only thing I could think has changed would be the input related events.
Tom Speirs
My own LED plugin also seems to work fine. Really not sure what is going on with LEDBlinky.
