Quadrasputnik
I'm very new to Pinball X, and I want to know how to make lists or groups to sort Tables more easily. I'm not sure what makes lists or groups different, though. Basically, I want to be able to sort Tables by Year, or by Manufacturer, or even both. I'd like to be able to choose a Manufacturer, and then seeing a list of Tables by that Manufacturer sorted by Year. Can anybody help me out? It would also be nice if some extra graphics could be added to each Table on the selection screen. The white text on a mostly black background feels a bit boring to me. Tom Speirs
There is not much in the way of sorting available in PinballX. Something like the sorting you are requesting would require a feature request. PinballX is only designed to handle a finite number of games. Lists are your lists of tables (games) for a system. The default list for a system is part of "All Tables". Additional lists for the same system can be selected from the table launch/information screen (available after clicking select). Groups allow you combine several lists from different systems into one selected list on the launch/information screen.
Quadrasputnik
But when I started up Pinball X and select a table, I got the option to show only Bally tables.
Tom Speirs
That's all you have enabled or created. Tables (games) are not provided with PinballX. It sounds like you are new to Virtual Pinball rather than PinballX. I suggest you head over to http://vpforums.org and start your journey there. Quadrasputnik
All I have enabled? But I've also added in a Chicago Coin and Gottlieb table, and I don't get the option to show the tables made by either Manufacturer.
Draco1962
While the document here is a little dated, it covers pretty much what you need to get started.

I downloaded that already, and the documentation file looks unfinished. I'm not sure where to get the complete file.
Draco1962
You downloaded the pdf under Zeenon's post and it appears unfinished? That is the complete file. Not sure if you are looking at the correct file there.
Quadrasputnik
The file asks me to fill in the information myself.
