tthurman
This is a couple years old, and was probably prompted by the Battle Pod announcement, but still an interesting trip down memory lane. Given how many good game Star Wars generated, it's really no surprise that it also generated its fair share of duds. Voting is at the bottom of the article. hansolo77
Heh, I only ever played 1 game in an arcade. So I voted for it, and it's the highest voted one too. I'd still like to give BattlePod a go before they landfill them.
tthurman
As expensive as they are, I can't see those in the landfill anytime in the foreseeable future. With the recent resurgence of arcades, and especially with home collectors, I hope we've learned what a bad mistake we made throwing out all those old gems, and won't make the same mistake again. I played the immersive round screen version at D&B's, and the flat screen version last fall in Vegas. This game would port to an awesome PC game, or at least it seems to me it'd be a good keyboard/mouse combo game. Nice to see the original still is holding strong at number 2.
