Draco1962
I was not aware that this was a feature. How would we set it up to cycle through multiple Loading.gif images?
Tom Speirs
It should be auto. Ill take a look but if something could confirm its not working it would help motivate me
Draco1962
Windows won't allow multiple files of the same file name in the \PinballX\Media\Loading Images path. Or does it look for whatever files are there and automatically cycle through them regardless of file name?

Viktory2k1
Uploaded to the FTP a version of this rotated for cabs Hi, I really like this but I cannot find the rotated version, it has been a while since I have been on here. I can't seem to find it in the FTP rotated. Nice!WOW, I can't even remember how to get to the FTP site to get the rotated download. I think my brain is fried from my 5-8 hours everynight working on the pinball scripts.
Itchigo
As far as I know PBX does already randomize them. Is it not working?I have even seen it use subfolders too.Loading image.gifNew FolderHauntfreaks, do you have one without the animation? Jas-o-n
Hmm...using the gifs as loading images does'nt work for me...the animation works well but the table does not come to front after loading. The animation does'nt stop and the only chance to end it is to kill pinballx.exe via task manager. Any ideas about that ??? See Ya....Jas

neohusky
Hey hauntfreaksGreat job on the gifs. The first of the 1080p links appears broken. Are you able to re upload, or even upload them to the FTP?Thanks

koolywiz
Anyone have any others they would like to share? Also anyone have some cool dmd video ones similiar to the pinballx one?
TerryRed
So, is the Loadig screen meant to only last for a small amount of time in Pinball X? I noticed that when I launch PC Games from PBX, that the loading GIF works fine, but then PBX closes that screen after about 15 secs or so. Doesn't happen with images.I was hoping to have something cool to look at on that screen while playing PC Games.
Draco1962
The loading image for my machine closes fairly quick as well. While some may wish to control this with a user-input delay perhaps, I'd rather not intentionally slow down any loading and would prefer a faster sequence so as not to need it altogether. YMS
I created a startup video from one of the GIFs that hauntfreaks posted here before, combined with the sample from The Who's "Pinball Wizard" that plays as PinballX' startup sound by default. The reason I made this is that I like that song (on its own and in particular in its function as a pinball startup song), but using it as a startup sound doesn't really work if you're using table audio (as the sound then plays for maybe two seconds before it stops and the table audio begins). Now with using the video instead, the whole startup of PinballX obviously is delayed by the 9 seconds the sample. Low quality a) because the full-size version of that GIF is no longer on Flickr, and b) to be able to upload it here. Good enough for my purposes anyway. Only portrait mode, cause the tool I used sucks ;), but if anyone would be interested in a landscape version, it sure can be done. (The video goes to Media\Startup Videos, and the startup video feature has to be enabled in the settings explicitly. My recommendation is to have the Media\Startup Images folder empty then, as otherwise first an image is displayed and then the video.)
