slavearm
Ok, so something is pretty goofy here. I run runitgame.bat and it works fine outside of gameex. But inside, after about 20 seconds the screen freezes. I have disabled debug mode, I have enabled show desktop. One weird thing that happens from when launched within gameex is that it locks the mouse pointer in the middle of the screen.Otherwise, at some point when troubleshooting, I convinced GE to put a pause in the launching bat file, don't really need that anymore so need to figure out how to remove that also. If anyone has any ideas, let me know. Thanks,Shane

hansolo77
Yeah it sounds like GameEx is retaining it's focus and not allowing the emulator to go full screen. Post your ini so we can take a look at how you have it configured. For kicks, here is my command line for Atomiswave (using DEMUL):DEmul.exe -run=atomiswave -rom=[ROM]I also have Show Desktop set to yes. slavearm
So I will post them up, but since I did the emulator export, I have not been able to get it to crash. I was trying to so I could post up the log immediately afterwards. Also, I built a loader so escape would close demul.[Arcade] Sega Naomi (DEmil).ini GameEx Support File Data [Emulator]CDCheckFile=CDCheck=FalseRandomMostPlayed=TrueShowMostPlayed=TruePlayInScreenSaver=FalseGamesIn7Zips=FalsePCGame=FalseSelectionMusicFolder=PlaySelectionMusic=FalseDontShowInfo=PlayMusic=FalseCustomBackground=ExcludedFiles=LaunchAfter=LaunchBefore=OLDatZip=AlsoLaunch=Debug=TrueShowDesktop=TrueRemoveBrackets=TrueCapitals=FalseReplaceUnder=TrueReplaceDash=FalseSendKeys=WaitBeforeKeys=MapKeys=FalseWorkingPath=C:\arcade\DEmulControlPanelPath=C:\Assets\Arcade\DEmul\ControlsManualPath=C:\Assets\Arcade\DEmul\ManualsCartPath=C:\Assets\Arcade\DEmul\CartridgesBoxPath=C:\Assets\Arcade\DEmul\BoxesTitlePath=C:\Assets\Arcade\DEmul\TitlesSnapPath=C:\Assets\Arcade\DEmul\SnapsRomPath=C:\arcade\DEmul\RomsMapFile=C:\GameEx\MAP FILES\[Arcade] Arcade (DEmul_Naomi).mapConfigFile=Database=[Arcade] Sega NaomiRomFilter=Command=demulload.exe naomi [ROM]StartPageLogo=NaomiStartPageName=[Arcade] Sega Naomi (DEmul)TitleText=Sega NaomiInfo=Sega Naomi emulatorWebsite=http://DEmul.emulation64.com/RequiredFiles=Naomi / Namoi 2 arcade system BIOS packs (naomi.zip, naomi2.zip)DownloadUrl=http://www.gamesdbase.com/setupwizard/emulators/download/DEmul.7zRating=Version=0.5.7Emulator=DEmulCategory=ArcadeSystem=Sega NaomiEnabled=TrueUseDbName=False GameEx.ini
hansolo77
It could be that loader... I don't use them very much, I think I only use one on Visual Pinball. You say you built it. Is it possible you have something wrong? What happens if you try it without the loader? I use MAPKEYS and have a configuration made to exit games with a certain joypad button combination. You could do something similar. On the 2nd page of the emulator config, there is an option called "Advanced Config". There is one in there to exit the process with an ESC key. Give that a try.
slavearm
Actually I made the loader to try to fix the problem initially. It works just dandy outside of GE all the time. So far so good since I posted those files though. Thanks for the tip on the exit the process with ESC key.
