72.775 ... I agree, this game's crazy!

Nice first try helpman :)

It's a pretty crazy game indeed. Four control buttons for moving your character and four control buttons to shoot in each direction

Default keyboard controls:

moving your character > E (up) / S (left) / D (down) / F (right)

shooting > I (Up) / J (left) / K (down / L (right)

I just opened MAME and set one of my arcade joystick as movement and the other one as shooting :D

Open mame setup with TAB (or other key if you changed it), go to "this game controls" and set your keys :D

This is exactly how the original game controlled (with twin sticks). Having said that, I think this is one of those games where you would likely notice a huge difference between 8-way and 4-way sticks in terms of playability (the originals were 8-way).

thanks all, makes tons of sense, i like the idea of the the dual sticks, one for shoot, one for move, crazy stuff!

this game is really hard if you can't move at all, HA!

This one sounds an awful lot like SmashTV. I can walk you through the MAME control setup for this game over the phone Jedi. I did this same thing for SmashTV, because I was losing my mind with buttons.

The similarity between Robotron and Smash TV is no coincidence, as Eugene Jarvis is behind both games.

This game makes me have a nervous break down.

Fun but absolutely mental.
