This prevents that somebody with a very good score having less team points than a team with 2 low ranked scores just because his team mate hasn't submitted a score.Example: (points being earned based upon individual score)team A - member 1: 1,000,000 points (ranked 3rd; 50 points)team A - member 2: 0,00 points (no rank; 0 points)team B - member 1: 5,000 points (ranked 23th; 30 points)team B - member 2: 4,500 points (ranked 24th; 29 points)With two low ranked scores team B would be getting more team points than team A who has one extremely good score.
