tttttwii
I installed PinballX together with the recommended video codex. After this Hyperpin is not starting anymore (screen turns black and exit to windows). I redownloaded Hyperpin and copied the exe to the respective folder ... no effect. Can anybody help? imagamejunky
Pinballx is a frontend. So is hyperpin. You should use one or the other. Pinballx is far superior in my opinion
simbamame
I agre with imagamejunkie although pinballx may not look cosmetically better is a lot easier to use, at the end of the day we want to get a table up and running as quick as possible , pinballx does this. punter1
Did you use the pinballx gamemanager to modify your XML file? Pinballx has a different XML file format. It can read hyperpin's XML format but I am not sure if hyperpin can read PinballX's XML format
tttttwii
I made a copy of the XML file and have 2 on my hard disc. That should not be the problem. It might be the video codecs which I changed. I installed the codecs recommended on PinballX download site. I just wanted to see if anyone of you is experiencing similar problems.
