Compiling Mame (update-files)

I'm trying to compile an older version of Mame (v0139) and I can't find a website with old mame update-files. For example 0139u2.diff

On http://www.mamedev.org/updates.html only the newest update can be downloaded.

Is there an archive on the web for these files?

I'm sure if you perform a Google search using mame 0.1369 .diff you will find a few sites in the first 10 displayed that host them. I would post a link however I am uncertain if the site also provides ROMs so will not list it or name it since that would be against the forum rules.

You can try here, it does not have the intermediate updates only the full releases though.

If you want the intermediates you can also use this:

http://www.mamedev.org/updates/0139u1_diff.zip <-- change the u update that you are looking for and you should be redirected to the source code package: ie change 0139u1 to 139u2 and you will be redirected to the u2 update package.
