Hi Tom, Within Pinball X (currently v.3.25), When I run VPX in force exclusive full-screen mode (VPX video option) , topper images show, but topper video's do not show . Running with this option turned off, all is good , but for performance reasons I would like to utilize the exclusive full-screen mode. Is there any solution ??

I'm running a 4 screen set-up. In pinball x menu/preview mode , all screens are displaying correctly. Once I start a game, all screens with the exception of the topper display. I know it has something to do with the 'force exclusive full screen mode' within VPX (4k mode), as it works correctly if i'm using HDMI (1920x1080 resolution). I know The topper is still running/working, however it is in the wrong location. I've tried to play with x & y axis adjustments, managed to get it working okay in game mode, but it then topper doesn't display in the menu/preview mode. Any suggestions, most welcome. I understand that running display in native 4k will probably solve this issue, but I'm holding off going down that path for now, as I'm also running arcade games, fx2/fx3 etc through pinball x.

Tom, I had to open a new thread, as the old one is locked. question: would pbx updates add images and videos to the “default images” and “default videos” for each system ? And, if so,would it overwrite whatever is there ? the reason I ask is that I have both default videos and images at the root level (media/videos and media/images) and those serve me well as long as there are no default images and videos per system. If you plan on adding the images and videos with every update (like with 2.85) then I have to create a copy of media/videos and media/images to media/visual pinball/default videos and media/visual pinball/default images. I guess it is workable either way, but probably best not to add files to the systems default folders to let the root default media do what it is intended to do. I just need to know, soI can configure my system properly. I hope this makes sense. btw, I do use system-level default images and videos to override the root-level ones for some system like pinball FX3, where I want a specific “no topper”video to be shown. This has been a great feature addition to PBX. thanks!

Hi.... Pinball FX3 is configured under Pinball X in my Cabinet. Everything works fine. I added 3 tables with Table Video,Backglass,DMD Image and a Video Topper. In the Menu all works fine. My Problem is as soon as I start a FX3 table that my topper video is gone (Black Screen). Backglass is always shown and my DMD Images switch to the DMD from Pinball FX3. I can play but Topper Video doesent show. When I leave the FX3 table back to the menu from Pinball X the Topper Video shows. Every FX3 Table the same Problem.... My 175 Visual Pinball tables and 68 Pinball FX2 tables do not have this Problem only FX3..... Thanks for your Help Greetings Thomas

Could someone please help me. I have a 3 monitor setup with the following displays :- Top Monitor : Backglass Middle Monitor : Topper Video ( top half of screen ), DMD ( bottom half of screen ) Bottom Monitor : Playfield Using Pinballx to launch Pinball FX2, Pinball FX3 and Mame. Everything working well and I have set up media for all system wit the help from the FTP site. One thing I would like to do is currently when a Pinball FX game starts the black glass shows, dmd is controlled by the game and the playfield shows. When the topper video stops the black desktop wallpaper just shows while in the game. Is there a way to change the wallpaper on the middle monitor to reflect the table being played. I could create some images so that the logo of thee game show in the top half as the bottom half would be obscured by the dmd. A few programs available on the internet are ultramon and display fusion, but If someone has an idea of how I would set them up and how to launch the command line / script with table name arguments it would be very appreciated.

Ciao, ho messo dei video backglass su secondo monitor e topper video su terzo monitor. Durante la scelta dei tavoli in pinballx si vedono entrambi i video, ma quando lancio un tavolo di pinballfx3 ,il topper resta nero e il video backglass sparisce lasciando l'immagine statica del gioco originale pinball fx3. Non ho ancora capito se c'e' un modo per vederli entrambi durante il gioco pinballfx3 o sarà funzionale nelle nuove versioni di pinballx. attendo info grazie

Hi Tom, Huge thanks for adding toppers. It works great, but not for video. Is there no video support or have I done something wrong? Cheers, Rusty.
