  1. I loaded GameEx up on my arcade and immediately discovered that the buttons were not mapped in a way that I had expected them to be. I am curious how everyone has mapped their arcade controls. I am running an old ipac. P1- 1 Coin1- 5 P2- 2 Coin2- 6 Joystick1- [up down left right] B1- [Lctrl] B2- [Lalt] B3- [Space] B4- [Lshift] B5- Z B6- X Joystick2 - [R D F G] B7- A B8- S B9- Q B10- W B11- I B12- K Additional Buttons B13-L B14-J Any ideas?
  2. Sorry guys, i've spent hours sifting through the different topics on this, messing around with mappings and have attempting every solution mentioned. Attaching my configs. Here's my deal: Hitting P on the keyboard during game to pause and hitting P again does resume... no problems. When i use a button on my cab assigned to P, the first time I hit the button it does take me to the pinballx menu giving me the option to stop playing or go back to the game..... However, when i attempt to go back to the game i see the vp "resume, quit, edit script" menu and can do nothing at this point. Also worth mentioning, the button #'s inside the pinballx setup end up showing different than what's assigned in vp keys settings. As an example, if i assign a cabinet button to a key in VP it shows up as Button 8, but when i assign same cabinet button inside PinballX it will appear as Button 7. Any ideas? PinballX.ini
  3. Howdy Howdy!!! Lol, its been awhile since I last took the time to log in and browse - I've been stuck finalizing my cab before the first of a series of game nights I'm hosting...gonna have some good bbq in a few weeks. Anyway, glad to be back! For the past six days alone, I've been running through all the games, to make sure that they work and also map the non working games with a differant version of MAME. Is there a certian file from Mapping Magician that I can backup, so that I won't have to spend a good bit of time remapping anything in case something goes south? Thanks in advance! And I hope all is doing well! LC
  4. Hello to all! I am kinda new to this. I'm working on building a 4 player mame arcade cabinet, and now I'm hitting a bit of a "speed bump". I've tried to look up as much as I can about this (which isn't really much to a noo-b lol). Here is the problem: There is one rom that works well with a version of MAME32, but not at all with the other version of MAME32. ** I am trying to get GameEx to run the rom in the correct version of MAME32, with all the other roms running of the other version of MAME32. I am still trying to figure out the Mapping Magician that came with GameEx. So here is my question - How do I do this (**) in noo-b "english" by using the Mapping Magician? (Almost like a more simple step by step version) How would I get GameEx to recognize two different versions of MAME32? ... And on a seperate subject (to keep from starting a new post...) - Is there a way to adjust or customize the "launch time" during when GameEx exits to launch a specific game? I am having trouble when launching Minecraft through GameEx. It does launch, but it takes a little longer than most other programs, which leads GameEx to return and leave Minecraft in the "background". Thanks in advance!!
