  1. I have a 2-screen bar-top cab and needed an alternate backglass option for this table. Here's the image I made from various sources. Cheers.
  2. Is there a way of displaying an image before the emulator/game starts - for instance to show the controls of my XArcade controller for THAT emulator. I know there is a method of starting commands before and after emulatopr just wondered what the syntax would be if it could be done. I have tried the usual opening but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Neil
  3. Is it possible to add an image to your post which is not a thumbnail but the size of the original image ? In understood you need to post the image as a link (Using the Image button in the posting controls), rather than as an attachment to the post. So I uploaded an image to my photobucket-account. Copied the link and posted the image in a reply as a link. I got a small picture-icon with a red square? What am I doing wrong? GC
  4. I have enabled the gameextender with the hope of simply showing a screenshot of the current state of my actual cabinet as a picture on a website. 1) If i connect to the actual ip & port via lan or web, i initially get a picture that if I click on it allows me to control my cabinet remotely. Although a great feature, can i limit this to prevent a random user also visiting this IP address and doing the same? (ie. if they right click my website image they can copy the url and then just connect to IP:PORT and Bingo!) 1.1) When the cabinet goes into attract / screensaver the online controls stop reacting, can an ESC key be added or amended to gain access to the cabinet again? 2) The actual reason for the topic! Can I just have gamex show the actual cabinet screen / game screenshot rather than the cabinet, control panel and statistsic images? Every time i refresh i get one of those four images. (By linking the website to this image, I remove the option of being able to click and control gameex) For the actual website image, I specifically link to this static page / url - http://mydomain:PORT/builtin/getimage-gxre640x480endre.png (I figured out by changing the 640x480 you can manipulate the image to be any size you want it to be) Every time I load this page / refresh I get the updated image from the cabinet but would like this to be purely a specific cabinet screenshot or in game screenshot. ( No panels, cabs or stats images) Thanks in advance!
  5. Hi, I'm loving GameEx but I've hit a snag. I have custom wallpaper backgrounds (and foregrounds, due to not wanting box art to overtake the background image) for each emulator section. GameEx stutters and sometimes crashes when I when I switch emulator sections. Sometimes when entering an emulator section, GameEx tries to load the custom background images, fails and the background reverts to the image I have when starting up GameEx, other times the whole program crashes. It doesn't happen everytime and oddly enough, some emulator sections load wallpaper smoother than others, but that might be coincidence. Also, every background and forground is a .png file if that helps or matters. I was hoping there was a solution and that I wouldn't have to resort to using just one background image throughout all of GameEx. I like to use an image relating to the game system I am about to play. I have a GameEx startup image and different background images for most of the emulator sections. I've included the crash report, if you still need the gameex.ini let me know. Thanks.
