I saw there are more people asking for this same issue, but there is no solution for it yet. Topics are closed without a solution. On my new installed system with Win10 x64, PinballX 2.36, Pinball FX2 (non steam) I encounter the same problem. Pinball FX2 tables are starting from the PinballX menu but when I exit the table it will return to PinballX but the backglass and DMD are stuck on the backglass monitor and Pinball FX2 is still playing in the background. I can't start a new table from this moment until I close Pinball FX2 myself. I also tried a KillTask.bat and use it as a Launch After in the settings like someone mentioned, but this isn't working too. Hopefully someone knows a solution or workaround. I'm having some problems with Kega Fusion ver 3.64 and GameEx ver 13.16 The emulator loads fine, plays roms well, it's just having problems when I exit back to GameEx that it shuts both Fusion and GameEx down and exits back to windows. I have my 'escape' key set to exit all emulators back to GameEx. GameEx uses the keystroke combo 'esc+home' to exit GameEx so I'm not sure what is going on. It's the only emulator that is causing this issue. Doesn't seem to matter which game is loaded either. I've attached my log file. log.txt

Hi, i've problems with some of these games. For example i can launch, via GameEx, KOF XIII but it runs "under" GameEx Or in the case of SSFIV i can't mange properly the exit because when i close the game GameEx remains an icon on the windows7 taskbar. I've tried some combination with Map Keys and Advanced Config but i haven't had success. Hello, I recently upgraded my arcade cabinet with a now extra copy of Vista-x64. Everything is working great, however I am unable to exit attract mode via an "Any" key-press: ESC will exit (Exit Combo does not exit)Mouse clicks will exitGame-pad will exitI have GameEx set to play only videos during attract mode right now to rule out emulators. Additionally, I made a test install on a Win7 64bit machine (which works as expected) then copied it over to the Vista machine (then does not work as expected). The Vista machine simply seems to ignore key-strokes. Has anyone ran across this before? Please see attached logs/configs. The exit on keystroke is me pressing the ESC key, it will not recognize any other key. log.txt GameEx.ini Best Regards, -John [solution:1.10.13] Root Cause: COMODO Internet Security 2013 Back Story: After deciding to upgrade to Win8 and move a copy of Win7x64bit to the Arcade, the problem reappeared. I did not notice this on my earlier tests as the Win7 computer had "COMODO Internet Security 2012" and '12 does not seem to cause this issue. (I do recall 2013 working with WinXP though) -John

i have pc hooked up to my plasma so i sit on the couch with a wireless 360 controller and run all my games through gameex well i had it set up to press back/start to quit an emulator, now it doean't work anymore esc still works but back/start doesn't. i have it set to joy6/joy7 in setup wizard and it used yo work and i didn't change anything untill it stopped working and i started mucking around with setting any ideas??? btw custom cfg doesn't save when i reopen it button cfg's are gone)and binding escape to a button on controller via custome cfg doesnt work either i have attached some ini's as i didn't know which one you would need thanks for reading GameEx.ini custominput.ini custominput.default.ini

Hey guys, Im running the latest GameEx and I'm very happy with it so far. I am having the following issues:- Q1 When my one player start and two player start are pressed together (or in close proximity to each other) I'm dumped out of mame back to the gameEx screen. This is the current mapping P1 Start - 1 P2 Start - Page Down I tried different mapping and same issue persists (not a fun error in a hectic 2 player game when we both have to continue at the same time Is there a way to disable this all together? or remap to my keyboard? Q2 When launching a Mame game is there a way to go straight into it without the disclaimers / info popping up? I did set options to turn this off, maybe im missing something? Q3 Spose Ill ask this too Is there anyway to setup auto save states eg every 5 mins? Thankyou
