  1. Currently I use this emulator to two systems: Commdore CDTV and Amiga CD32. The current version of the emulator is 2.6.2 My command lines for each system are: fs-uae.exe --fullscreen=1 --amiga-model=CDTV --joystick-port-0-mode=joystick --cdrom-drive-0="[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" fs-uae.exe --amiga-model=CD32 --joystick-port-0-mode="cd32 gamepad" --fullscreen=1 --cdrom-drive-0="[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" After the last update of this emulator system Commodore CDTV can no longer start the game. Certainly the command line needs updating. I did some tests using the emulator alone and then the emulator with GameEx. Moments in some games running on the emulator alone do not work when I try to run it by GameEx.I speak of the two systems (Commdore CDTV and Amiga CD32.). Does anyone here use this emulator? And could you tell me which command lines are suitable for each of them? AMIGA CD 32.ini COMMODORE CDTV.ini GameEx.ini log.txt
  2. Previously, using the "Windows 7" used the following command lines to make the "Magic Engine 1.1.3" emulator running on my computer: Command=pce.exe -cd:F LaunchAfter="C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Lite\DTLite.exe" -unmount scsi, 0LaunchBefore="C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Lite\DTLite.exe" -mount scsi, 0, "[RomPath]\[RomFile]" But did the upgrade to "Windows 10". And now comes this message when I try to create a virtual SCSI drive: "the SCSI pass through direct does not work in this version of windows". I created a virtual drive DT, but the Magic Engine emulator does not recognize that there is a CD. Only when creating the SCSI DRIVE emulator that recognized the CD. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem? GameEx.ini TURBO GRAFX CD.ini

  6. Currently I use the command line to run the emulator "CDI EMU" in GameEx:Philips_Cd-i_Loader.exe "[ROMPATH] \ [ROMFILE]"I have three questions I could not answer so far: 1) When the emulation starts it occupies only a small part of the screen. Is there any command line to activate the "Stretch"? 2) Currently only can play using the mouse. Is there any way to configure a joystick emulator that !? 3) In some games comes this error message when started: "Your disc may be dirty". There resolving this issue? GameEx.ini CDI.ini
  7. Can anyone tell me what the necessary command line to run the Mess emulator system games "Super A'can"? Or if there is a better emulator to run this system !?
  8. Did the report I think is a bug in GameEx. When I walk in the MAME configuration options (Setup Wizard), in the "MAME settings", I activate the option "Show game 4 players," but it does not appear when I enter the GameEx. Other options are activated and they appear. Please look for a long time the answer but so far not found: 1) I am setting up the layout GameEx. But I did not find a way to edit the "MENU" option. Is this possible? This option shows more things than I wanted. I would like to edit it, and in some cases remove it. 2)Within "MAME settings" can not find the option to remove the option to display that appears when we entered the mame through GameEx, "Update List". You can do it? 3) Another thing I wanted to edit is a possibility to remove the "Image" and "Image 2" on some systems. Could anyone help me?GameEx.ini
  9. Through internet research I found the ability to create batch files to Start scan specific functions depending on the type of game you play on the emulator. Although read about it, I could not learn how to create them. What I need is very specific and I will explain. The default setting of both the epsxe and pcsx2 for me is great. But such emulators have the multitap function. Those who work with them know that when a set of up to 2 players starts the multitap function can not be active. And when a game more than 2 players starts the multitap function necessarily need to be active so that the controls can function. In short, I wanted to learn two things: 1) Could someone explain me how to create a batch file to enable or disable the function of the multitap on both emulators through GameEx? 2) When a game starts in epsxe you must press the "F5" and "F6" to enable the analog control of all controls. What command should use the batch file for that !? Many thanks in advance to all who can help me. GameEx.ini PLAYSTATION.ini PLAYSTATION 2.ini
  10. I found this great emulator on the internet. From what I read about it seems to be the best for the X68000 system. Only have two questions about the same: 1) What is the correct command line to make it work in GameEx? 2) This system used floppy disks. Most of his games have 2, 3 or even 4 disks. Once you start a game, eventually the system will ask me to add the second, third or fourth diskette. How to Insert them through GameEx? Thanks to anyone who can help me. GameEx.ini X68000.ini
  11. I'm trying to use the Mess emulator to run the game "COMMODORE CDTV" and "COMMODORE CD32". 12. Good day guys !! I want to add the video game emulator "Super Cassette Vision" in GameEx. Currently I use the Mess emulator, but I noticed that a number of games in this emulator lock when started, or the game simply does not run. I took a look at this Japanese site where a guy has developed an emulator.http://homepage3.nifty.com/takeda-toshiya/From the pictures on the site looks like this emulator works well. Only I could not get it to work. Has anyone here ever use this emulator and tell me what to do !? ps. the emulator comes with that text file "eSCV" - EPOCH Super Cassette Vision Emulator for Win321/5/2008 --- Internal ROM image BIOS.ROM $0000-$0FFF --- Cart ROM images Cart ROM image header: db id[4] 'SCV^Z' (53h,43h,56h,1ah) db ctype 0 = 16KB, 32KB, 32KB + 8KB 1 = 32KB + 8KB SRAM 2 = 32KB + 32KB, 32KB + 32KB + 32KB + 32KB db reserver[11] (note: if no header, it is recognized that ctype must be 0) ctype = 0 * Standard cart 16KB ($8000-$BFFF) * Milky Princess * Super Sansu-puter 32KB ($8000-$FFFF) * Mappy 32KB (PC5=1, $8000-$FFFF) * Nekketsu Kung-fu Road * Star Speeder 32KB (PC5=0, $8000-$FFFF) + 8KB (PC5=1, $e000-$FFFF) ctype = 1 * BASIC Nyu-mon * Dragon Slayer * Pop & Chips * Shogi Nyumon 32KB (PC5=0, $8000-$FFFF) + 8KB SRAM ctype = 2 * Doraemon * Sky Kid 32KB (PC5=0, $8000-$FFFF) + 32KB (PC5=1, $8000-$FFFF) * Dragon Dai Hikyou 32KB (PC5=0/1 PC6=0, $8000-$FFFF) + 32KB (PC5=0/1 PC6=0, $8000-$FFFF) + 32KB (PC5=0 PC6=1, $8000-$FFFF) + 32KB (PC5=1 PC6=1, $8000-$FFFF) * Pole Position 2 (?) * Rantou Prowres * Waiwai(Y2) Monster Land 32KB (PC5=0 PC6=0, $8000-$FFFF) + 32KB (PC5=1 PC6=0, $8000-$FFFF) + 32KB (PC5=0 PC6=1, $8000-$FFFF) + 32KB (PC5=1 PC6=1, $8000-$FFFF) --- Key maps Virtual PC -------------------------------- Joystick-1 Directions Cursor Trigger-1 Z Trigger-2 X 0-9 0-9 EN Enter CL BackSpace PAUSE Space ---------------------------------------- TAKEDA, toshiya [email protected] http://homepage3.nifty.com/takeda-toshiya/ thank you!GameEx.ini CASSETTE VISION.ini
  13. Something has happened in GameEx. It is not necessarily a mistake, but it has bothered me and I do not have the slightest idea how to solve. The question is: I have set in my GameEx many emulators. For each emulator I created a different Background. So far so good. But at times, when I'm browsing through the menus, some kind of "error" happens and the menu that I had put disappears and in its place the corresponding background screen comes to emulators (Is that blue GameEx screen with the word "emulators" written in the top left of the screen). And this happens all the time. It is not something isolated. An example of an action that results in my "errors" happens when I get out of GameEx shaking "Alt + Enter" keys. At the same time the background screen that was some emulator switches to different background. Do you understand what I said !? They want me to send an video to show you what's going on !? Thanks again !! ps. I love this program you developed Adultery. Congratulations !!! GameEx.ini
  14. Good afternoon! I saw a topic on forum tayto type X problems, but everything I read did not help me solve the problems. Several games have the error: "I / O ERROR". They are: -BlazBlue Calamity Trigger -King of fighters 13 -Raiden 3 -Shikigami No Shiro 3 .................................................. ............................................................................................... As for these games: Raiden 4 ............................ (follows a print screen of the error message) Spica Adventure ............... (The game crashes when loading) Tetris The Grand Master 3 .. (The screen is black and nothing happens) Ps. I'm not using two monitors at the same time. Only one. And all the games run out of GameEx perfectly. Can anyone tell me how to fix these problems !? Thank U. GameEx.ini TAITO TYPE X.ini
  15. I use "ProSystem emulator" to play Atari 7800. The emulator works normally. But when I put this emulator in full screen mode, all the colors of the game are strange. 16. Hello! I know this has been asked several times, lol...I have looked through numerous posts, but still have yet to get this working. How do you get High Scores showing within GameEx? Are there any clear instructions on using HiToText within a front end? - I have compiled my own version of MAME (Mame 136 w/high score support) - I enabled High Score Support in the Setup Wizard. - Just to be sure, I have a highscore.dat file in the root folder of MAME. (I've even tried it with no highscore.dat file. I've test read a ".hi" file via HiToText. (galaga.hi) HiToText read the file tested and displayed the scores in the command prompt window. I've also emptied the "hi" folder and got MAME to create a new ".hi" file...when checked though GameEx, still did not show. Attached below is my GameEx.ini file. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, as I am about to pull out the rest of my hair on this lol. Thanks in advance!! LC GameEx.ini

  18. Hello and Merry Christmas to all! I absolutely love GameEx Online - a huge thank you to Tom Spears and everyone who has been behind the scenes in making GameEx and this community the best one on the internet . I'm know that you all are really busy with the holidays, family, GameEx Evolution (which is going to be AWESOME!!), etc. I would like to make a feature request... would it be possible to add a "restart pc" in the list of options in GameEx Online? I noticed that there was a shutdown, and when I'm away from home, there are times in which I need to restart the arcade...and the android app I use isn't all that dependable :/. Also, I noticed that while GameEx is in screensaver, I'm not able to start a game remotely. After I choose a game to play, I would have to physically press a button on the arcade to get GameEx out of the screensaver in order for the game to start. Would it be possible to add an option to exit the screensaver remotely? Thanks in advance and have a happy holiday season! LC
  19. Hi all!!! It's possible to change my avatar on GameEx online page? If i enter in my profile, i see my forum avatar, but it not showing on GameEx Online, maybe it's not possible to do this at the moment.... I don't know... Thanks in advance!!!
  20. I finally got my Mame32 emu running well under gameex and am enjoying the gameex interface with one exception. When I play a vertical game, such as Donkey Kong in MAME32 I rotate my display and get a full screen of the monkey but when i play this same game through GameEx my screen still rotates but the screen is compress so I am not using my screen's full potential. When I play Horizantal games there is no difference between MAME32 and GameEx. Look my screen shots and you will see what I mean. What can i do to make GameEx use my full screen area when playing verticals? Thanks! Pete-za66
  21. Hello all! I'm new to the forum here, yet have been working on my GameEx setup for some time now. I must say it is quite the awesome FE! I have the registered version and was having some troubles with Steam games. For pretty much any Steam game (like Geometry Wars:RE), what happens is this: I click the game on the GameEx Steam page The screen goes dark The Steam login page shows up (I have auto-logon set to on) The offline prompt comes up (I'm running my setup offline since I don't have a WLAN card for it) I hit the play offline button The game boots up for a split second The game quits and steam says "Waiting for <game name> to shut down" Then I'm back at the GameEx screen. I'm running Steam in big picture mode also (just to make it a bit more cab-friendly if I ever need to navigate the menus, so I'm not sure if that's a problem there. Any ideas or help would be much appreciated! Thanks for reading! Sebastian1314
  22. Hello and good morning/afternoon/evening! I recently updated my cab and instead of using pre-compiled versions of mame (mame32), I decided to compile my own version of Mame UI with hiscore support. I used Headkaze's MameCompiler64, and compiled Mame 136 with no errors. I couldn't find any of the update patches, but after googling around for awhile, I heard that the source code I downloaded from the MameDev website had the updates worked in. I also applied the hiscore.diff patch for 136 with no errors, and with using hiscore.dat, everything is working as it should...except for one thing - I cannot...for the life of me...get GameEx to show the High Scores within the game's menu. I enabled the high score support in the Mame Advance Config section using the Setup Wizard. The "High Score" section still does not appear within the game's info section (I tried Donkey Kong, Pacman, etc) and sometimes, HiToText seems to crash. Lol, I would normally upload my config ini and log files, but presently away from the cab at the moment and won't be able to return for another 8 or so hours. But, off the top of your heads, is there a step that I'm skipping somewhere?...does anyone else have this problem? Thanks in advance! LC
  23. So ive basically stripped down the functions of gameex, for my friends cabinet, as im trying to remove as many variable as i can from the machine not working properly. Dvds seem to not play, or play properly, so ive discarded all the dvd playback and ripping features. The only one ive decided to keep is the youtube feature. But when i go to the youtube app in gameex, it only gives me options to view "most popular" and "most recent" videos and such, which are the same handful of videos that never change. When i go to search, and search a term, it acts as a gameex search and just brings up roms within gameex matching whatever i type. So, is the youtube app in gameex actually a fully functioning, youtube app where i can search and watch whatever i want? Or am i missing something. Thanks for the help
