  1. i Wanna Get Manuals In Every Mame Game But i Dont Know how Please Help me
  2. Hi, I have all the necessary ROMs for the latest version of MAME and should have setup MAME properly through the GameEX Wizard. When I'm updating the list in the GameEX software, not every ROM is being shown in the list. Mainly only light gun games instead of all the ROMs that I should have in my list. Any help please? I'm completely lost. Thanks
  3. Hello all, I do have 2 quick questions been searching here in the forum also in my gameex setup wizard exe and not luck, 1- How to add more time to video snaps between videos? Right now I believe its like 5 secs or something how to edit that number to add more time. 2- How to disable Genres from showing. I do have lot of games and some times kids press it by mistake and it takes too long to load since a lot games and emulators so how to disable? others info: I do have Gameex Arcade edition because I was thinking only to use with arcade games (MAME) , i really like it and ended adding all my other emulators, and now its my main Frontend, but the problem is I see its missing lot features not showing in the wizard setup since its the Arcade edition its limited so that way its less complicated and lighter correct?, but anyway to get to those settings maybe direct from the original config file itself, thanks in advance. i added the pictures. to show you items to be changed thanks..
  4. Hi everybody, I have a little problem, I first used emumovies sync to download all artworks and videos snaps for my systems, then I try to use gameex auto downloading feature....but it seems that both are not using the same folder naming convention. One is using '_' between words for example as the other is using spaces. And Gameex Evolution seems to use is SYSTEM_NAME variable to create folder like [console handled] Sega..... I am a bit confused now, why not using the same naming convention and is it a way to change gameex conf (specially with gameex evolution) to be synchronized with emumovies ? Thank you for your help
  5. Hi All, Thought that I would post up a video of my latest project, up until now I've only used PinballX for Pinmame cabs but having bought an old Skillball cabinet with a vertical display I thought that GameeX would be the way to go. Here's a video of the complete project: ...and a few pictures too. I need to make the usual thanks, particularly to Jukedock for the controller and jukebox knowledge, Phil for making the bespoke plastics and Mike for making me the touchscreen. This time I managed to get through this by reading the forum and I didn't need to ask any questions - that's a tribute to the group. As for Tom's work and inspiration from posts by Draco and many others, well you all know that you are legends, thank you.
  6. Good night people. I updated my gameex to the latest version available ..... 15.27, however all emulator settings have gone out ..... I remember this happening once ..... After all what is happening? Is it a bug?
  7. Good night people. Through Autoit I have created files with .au3 extension on my computer. each .au3 file has a series of commands to run a specific game. I put all these ".au3" files in the roms folder however the gameex can not see these files showing me an empty list. What should I do to have gameex recognize such files? I tried to add the ".au3" extension in the "rom filter" field but it also did not work. 1) Can anyone tell me how to make gameex run these different scripts? 2) What command line should I use in this case? This would work: "[ROMPATH] \ [ROMFILE]"
  8. I have done a few searches and either I am not looking in the right place, I'm not scrolling down far enough, or I have something that is not working correctly. I have been running Gameex for a little while and am now beginning to customize the front end system but I can't figure out why I can't seem to find the "download theme" area in the "setup". I know it is SIMPLE, but I have spent hours looking and have finally given up. I'm SURE it's going to be one of those... "if it were a snake it would have bit me" types of things. Please help THANK YOU!
  9. I'm trying to run the XENIA and CXBX Reloaded emulator games through gameex, but the command lines I use do not work. I tried searching the internet but could not find it. Could someone pass me the command lines of these two emulators? already tried these lines: Cxbx.exe ""[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"" Cxbx.exe "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" xenia.exe "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" xenia.exe ""[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]""
  10. I downloaded and installed GameEX Arcade after forum comments and watching the video on the main gameex page. It shows a screen with wheels. It also shows games like 1942 with a full movie when the wheel points to that game. And last, in some screens there is a menu across the top that shows among other things "change view". Does that change themes? I don't see that menu anywhere. Is there a tutorial or can you help me duplicate that to see how it works? I would just need whatever theme is used and a little help on how to use it and the graphics/video for one game like the 1942 so I could set it up myself. I found where the graphics are stored and see in the menu for "golden age games" a wheel setup with one logo for afterburner and a snap video. Thank you.
  11. Hi, after reading the thread about ePSXe I was able to get that running (finally). However I cant quite get Nulldc running properly. It lists the games, but when I select a game I just launches Nulldc, but not the actual game. Ideally, it would just launch the game without me seeing the Nulldc interface, but at this point if it would just launch the game that would be great. I have included my config file for your viewing pleasure. Nulldc.txt
  12. I have been using GameEx AE with all of my arcade builds and all of the sudden when I buy 5 AMD Processor PCs it doesn't work. Am I missing something? How can GameEx not work just with a difference in processor. Please Help!! I have many orders I need to fill building these PCs for my friends. Thanks! 13. Hi, everybody I am using gameex vor several years now and really like it. I have been able solve practically all my issues so far. That said, there’s one remaining: For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to start the jukebox with a button on my control panel. All other jukebox controls are fine once I started the jukebox in the menu (including play/stop). Also, if I configure gameex to start playing music after startup it does so as expected. I just don’t want it to pay music every time it starts. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance
  14. I'm sure there's a simple reason I'm getting this error, here's my steps. 1. Brand new install of Windows 10 64, updated. (i5, 16G ram, basic nvidia card) 2. download GameEx Arcade edition, install. 3. receive a message that windows wants to install .Net 3.5 (includes 2) 4 after .net install completes I re attempt GameEx arcade. 5 install runs without error I start GameEx. 6 I see the wizard. when I advance to the "input settings" section I receive an Unhandled Exception. I have tried regular edition, uninstalling and reinstalling .net and gameex. again I'm sure theres something basic I am overlooking. Here's the content of the exception: See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.IO.FileNotFoundException: The specified module could not be found. Gameex Bug

I wanted to report a Bug that I found on Gameex. I made a video to show the problem. Gameex is started normally. I enter the emulator folder and choose any of the systems. In the video I made, I chose the "MEGA DRIVE" system. Once inside the chosen system area, if I want to maximize the screen by pressing "ALT + ENTER" the screen is maximized, but two errors appear. The first is that the background screen disappears giving way to it an image belongs to the file "emubak.png". The second error is that the navigation keys that go down and up in the game list are moved from place to place (first it was on the left / bottom part of the screen and after the error happens these keys invade the part where the list of games is, as can be seen in the video). The gameex is configured to maintain the current computer resolution. My computer is at 1920x1080 resolution. My monitor has the same resolution capacity. And I currently use a theme that also has 1920x1080 resolution. I had reported this problem a long time ago. I thought that future updates would fix them, but that has not happened to this day. I would really like the developers to take a look at this issue. It is not something that brings problems to the functionality that the gameex is intended for but really irritates me. log.txt GameEx.ini
  16. Hi Guys, i would be interested in becoming a lifetime subscriber to GameEx so I can have access to the FTP. But I am a little bit worried if it provides a better user experience than using a google picture search. So I hope some of you subscribers can enligthen me. For example in the PinballX Game List Manager, if i press the search Button as a non-subscriber I will find artwork for most classic VP tables. However there is nothing for PinballFX 2 (3) or Pinball Arcade. So how is the experience if I subscribe? I know there are artworks available for these tables but would they show up in the search of the interface for me to select directly? Or do I need to manually connect to the FTP download everything and then locate the stuff from my Harddrive? (That would be like the google experience) Thank you for your insights!
  17. I have everything else configured and working, but for some reason I have never gotten this to work. Also if it matters, its on a USB drive. I had the roms on 2 different drives before and moved them to a single drive. It didn't work before either. GameEx also lists the drive letter before the rom name as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. log.txt GameEx.ini
  18. Hi All, I've been using GameEx for some time on my upright and now I have a bit of time I would like to transfer the upright roms to my PinballX set up. I can easily sort the vertical games out but to save a lot of time fiddling is there an easy way to get GameEx to export a mame.xml file for PinballX I have Googled to no avail...
  19. Hello guys. I discovered this system called "SUFAMI TURBO" recently and wanted to set it up on GameEx. I have researched and seen that the emulators that play games of this system is the "Snes9x" and also the "Bsnes Plus" I currently use the latest versions of each of these emulators. Could someone tell me what command line to use? It can be for any of these emulators. Both are very good !!
  20. I am currently using the Yabause emulator to play the Saturn games. The emulator works perfectly inside the gameex, but I can not find the command line to cause the emulator not to stretch the image when it enters full screen mode. I searched for yabause command lines on the internet but could not find the one that solved my problem. Could someone tell me what the command line is to prevent the emulator from stretching the image? Currently my command line is this: Yabause.exe -f -i "[ROMPATH] \ [ROMFILE]" -f: Causes the emulator to go to full screen mode. -i: responsible for recognizing the game iso.
  21. Good people ....... I decided to use the mapping of keyboard and mouse buttons, the so-called "antimicro". I have already done the mapping and the files with the controls settings are ready. But I have no idea what command line to use to get the antimicro program started with the proper configuration for the video game I chose to play. Could you tell me how to do this? Ps. I've tried XPADDER but it just does not work on my computer. I already had what I could, even trigger the developer of the program. My current choice is for "antimicro".
  22. I've been using GameEx for some time now and have 23 emulators set up in the GameEx setup wizard. Everything was fine and working. I went to set up a 24th emulator in the setup wizard, it wasn't working as I liked so I tried to replace it with another (which ive done successfully in the past) and now all by emulators have the correct name in the first line, but everything else after that is referring to Visual Pinball including paths for each of my emulators assets and roms. Visual Pinball is the first emulator listed as number 1. When I go to GameEx the emulators work fine and I am able to load the games at this point. I am working on GameEx trying to get all the emulators that I would like working, but now I am afraid to do anything until this problem is resolved. Does anyone have any ideas. Is there a file that may have become corrupt, that should be deleted or replaced? There was an update to GameEx earlier today, could the update be buggy? Please help. Thanks.
  23. Hi all, Been searching around the forum but can't find an issue that is similar enough to ours; When loading into the Gameex system and viewing "all games" not all of the ROMs that are shown as available in MAME can be viewed or played. We've been looking into this issue for the best part of the day, we also tried changing the ROM path but the same 160 games (which stop after A in the directory) showed. I've attached the gameex.ini and log.txt from our machine, any help would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, Michael at 3GiTech GameEx.ini log.txt
  24. I just got a Lifetime Sub after using GameEx since early 2000's. Sounds dumb, but I can't even sit down I'm so excited !!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to Tom for years and years and years of supporting and updating this!
  25. Hi there! I'm trying to load basic gameex from a backup small hard drive I had, so I just installed it fresh, no older settings, nothing at all. When I try to launch it, it crashes with an error of non valid characters. My log in spanish... the only spanish text is the 4th line, "Error: non valid characters on access path" verified the setup with the setup wizard, and the only invalid paths reported are from default setups that I don't use (videos, jukebox, daphne...) all of them disabled. what can it be?
