When i doubleclick mame.exe i get that attachment classic GMR posted. When i launch gameex and goto emulated roms the game will launch. When i goto MAME the organized section i can see the roms and when i launch one i believe veritcle and horizontle it will get to the loaded screen on Mame and then close before it gets to the bios screen and all the coin stuff

i removed my old mame from a long time ago and downloaded the newest mame version on the mame site. I just created the INI file like 1 hour ago from scratch. Mame works outside of Gameex. If i goto Emulated games and choose mame it also works but when i just select the MAME loader where you can set it up by itself. Thats where i am having the issue with the loading.

verified just now. when i click mame.exe in its own folder it loads the roms and i am able to play all the ones that work. I got a bunch on there. it is only through gameex where it doesnt work and i changed the bezel to off and removed the command in the mame options to for the display thing. i been slamming my head on the table for like 2 hours already. Im not great at coding or setting up stuff but i was able to create the Mame.ini file and just copy and paste the paths that i knew.

I saw posts and posts of all this regarding Mame 0.108 but i am having an issue with the newest version launching correctly. I Ran the update on my emulator games which now they are all viewing in MAME mode however, when i launch the game it loads to 0% then just says game over and takes me back to the main screen to hit play. I have disabled verticle game bezel and i created a Mame.ini file which i changed the Rom path to the correct path on my computer. I copied all the posts from way back but i keep getting the same results

I just saw Xpadder and I am going to try it now. For some reason it seems like all my basic emulators work except for Mame. When the game loads it just closes right away and goes back to gameex. in order to get everything to start normally in full screen do I have to edit the Ini files within the emulator or is there a way through gameex?

Hi Guys, I am sadly new to this. I been using XBMC for my Xbox but my Xboxs are getting old and dont play over 720 Which chugs along on certain movies. Are there walk throughs on stream lining the emulators to have a max screen. How to set up Mutiple controller profiles depending on the emulator. I have actual N64 controllers i use for N64 and Sega Saturns for most my arcade stuff. Can these controllers all be configured on 1 app instead of changing all the options inside the emulator. My goal is to figure this stuff all out then someday buy an actual arcade cabinet and make it all work with the coin slots and everything. Pretty sure a lot of people here want that. I dont need like special hand holding methods here. I was wondering if there is just a walk through I can read and ask about all the other stuff I dont understand. Other than that this platform looks perfect and what i pretty much need to take it to the next step.
