  1. I have different .ipc files for my ipac for each emulator. I have no problems programming the MAME settings, which are also my gameex settings. The problem I have is when I try to run nulldc and re-program to map the keys for nulldc. I have gameex set the launch before, to set it up for nulldc and the launch after to restore. This does not work for either command. When I run the install wizard and verify my setup it says file not found for both of the nulldc before/after launching of winIPAC. However, if I remove the name of the .ipc file it works (just giving the path name to winIPAC). I have cut and pasted the commands from the working setup in my mame section. I am running Windows 7 64. I also noticed that my launch on startup does not work. Below is the output from the Install Wizard Verifying Emulator 3: [Console] Sega Dreamcast (nullDC)... Launch Before: "C:\Program Files (x86)\WinIPAC\WinIPAC.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\WinIPAC\Escape_Keys_nulldc.ipc" does not exist. Launch After: "C:\Program Files (x86)\WinIPAC\WinIPAC.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\WinIPAC\Escape_Keys.ipc" does not exist. Verifying Tweaks / Performance... Launch On Startup dont wait: "C:\Program Files (x86)\WinIPAC\WinIPAC.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\WinIPAC\Escape_Keys.ipc" does not exist. This is extracted from the config file (I added spaces before to make it easier to read) emu_3_launchbefore= C:\Program Files (x86)\WinIPAC\WinIPAC.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\WinIPAC\Escape_Keys_nullDC.ipc emu_3_launchafter= C:\Program Files (x86)\WinIPAC\WinIPAC.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\WinIPAC\Escape_Keys.ipc LaunchOnStartNoWait= C:\Program Files (x86)\WinIPAC\WinIPAC.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\WinIPAC\Escape_Keys.ipc ShellBeforeLaunch= C:\Program Files (x86)\WinIPAC\WinIPAC.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\WinIPAC\Escape_Keys.ipc LaunchBefore= C:\Program Files (x86)\WinIPAC\WinIPAC.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\WinIPAC\Escape_Keys_nulldc.ipc LaunchAfter= C:\Program Files (x86)\WinIPAC\WinIPAC.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\WinIPAC\Escape_Keys.ipc Thanks in advance -Dan log.txt GameEx.ini
  2. I didn't have an entry on my start menu for run last game. However, I did go to my gameex log and paste in the command line arguments of the last game that I ran. When I ran that game from the cmd prompt the sound was fine. -dan
  3. That fixed it. Strange, I haven't changed any key mappings in over 6 months. I'm assuming I can move over my old mappings back into the cfg folder one at a time and see which one is causing the problem. Is there an easy way to tell which ones I have modified (I can't remember them all). Thanks for the help! -Dan
  4. Unfortunately it did not help, I still have the sound problems. Thanks, Dan
  5. Updated to the latest version and I still have the problem. I see errors in the log, I just don't know how to fix them. -Dan CPWizard_log.txt
  6. The new version fixed the problem and it also fixed the blinking problem. Now the One player start and two player start flash in tandem and are properly lit. Excellent! Thanks! Dam
  7. Attached is my log where I have the sound problem with the bezel. Also, I noticed that if I enable Arcade VGA, no bezel is displayed at all. Is that by design. -Dan log.txt
  8. When I turn on the use bezels for vertical games, the sound is messed up in those games. I tried it with both Donkey Kong and Centipede. Any ideas? -Dan
  9. After installing the latest version, I can no longer select any options when CPWizards opens. It brings up the menu and using the joystick or the arrow keys on the keyboard has no effect. -Dan
  10. Still has the same behavior with 2.61. Also, the player 1 versus player 2 button blink quite differently. The player 1 button blinking is fine, the player 2 start blinking is not very bright and blinks erratic. Let me know when to try the next version. Thanks, -Dan
  11. I noticed that when I start Dig Dug, it has the proper LEDs lit as the game initializes (the games self test). After the self test, all of the buttons are turned off. I checked about 5 other games and they lit up properly. The only thing I could think of was the fact that Dig Dug flashes the player 1 start button when a credit is applied. I wonder if there is some conflict there. I just tried centipede and it has the same problem. Also, is it possible to change the speed of the flashing player start light?
  12. V 2.31 I did set the buttons to always be active which is ok. However, with the old plugin when I loaded a game like punch-out it would only light the P1 buttons (as there were no p2 controls). Not a big deal, but perhaps you could look at it. Also, when I select a game in GameEX it always lights the proper buttons. When I launch the game sometimes, all of the buttons are disabled (other times they stay lit) when the games actually starts up. Unfortunately, they are usually all turned off. I did notice that when I select pulse speed and exit the plugin and return it is always set back to 1. Question. Is 1 fast or is 7. I'm not sure how to test that. One last question. I'm not sure I understand the profile editor. I figured I would select GameEx and select what I wanted the default settings. Next, I would select MAME (and pick default) and change it. However, If I change the settings and press save and select a game, go back to MAME with default, my settings are back to the GameEx settings. What I want to do is have a different set of defaults for GameEx and MAME. Can you explain. Thanks again! -Dan
  13. No problem. I was just looking for the lazy mans way out. Anyway, My P1 & P2 Coin and Start buttons are always off in MAME. I did notice they were checked on the default setting, but if I pick a specific game, they are not checked and the state is False. How do I get them back? Also, I'm not quite sure what the State checkbox is all about. Could you explain that? Thanks for the great plugin. -Dan
  14. Wow. Looks like there are a lot of features here. I've just loaded it up. Is there a way I can import my old LCD.ini or do I have to remap everything?
  15. That was it. Funny thing was I had those mapped at one time and didn't realize they weren't mapped anymore. I'm suspecting the mappings got wiped back when GameEx used to update the Plugin with the older version. I lost my settings several times when that happened. Thanks again and this plugin rocks!
