  1. Alan-1 is doing some interesting stuff, my first exposure being their Star Wars yoke, which is actually better than the original I spent way too much restoring. Aside from some finishing QC, it seems to be a pretty much perfected original. There's more as well, here: https://alan-1.com/ This however, caught me by surprise.
  2. May be a long shot, but maybe toggle Slik-Stik support to NO, save and then back again. It seems I ran into this once when after having my star wars yoke hooked up, but it's been awhile and may have also involved the Direct Input setting. My iPac is an old ps2 interface model. Probably won't work, but easy enough to try.
  3. You may predate me but it's good to have you back and posting!
  4. My experience has been that Alan-1 products are the real deal, based solely upon my their Star Wars yoke. Hopefully, they will energize the current Atari clowns/owners to return the name to it's former glory! https://arcadeheroes.com/2024/03/12/atari-is-returning-to-arcades-with-new-alan-1-partnership/
  5. Super build for sure! Sort of qualifies what kind of expense making these is when you don’t have game licensing to take up the slack.
  6. You’ll need to furnish your GameEx.ini and log file in order for anyone to start to try and help you. Did you run the verification check at the conclusion of the setup wizard? if not then I’d recommend you do, it’s often an incorrect path that’s the culprit.
  7. There must be some small differences in your two setups. GameEx uses the data you supply it with and point to when configuring the directory paths. The application simply is displaying the information made available to it. So, If game info is showing on one and not the other, it must be some difference between the two.
  8. Yep, he took the game element to the next level with his cabinet designs.
  9. Saturn core gets a major update. I need to check my RAM revision.
  10. Saw over at Tony's blog some sad news that Mike Jang has passed away. To say he was involved in some classics would be an offensive understatement. A really nice post with a great deal of photos of classic arcade history. https://arcadeblogger.com/2024/02/13/ataris-mike-jang/
  11. I loved this game and played countless hours, but had no idea of any of what’s described in the video.
  12. Another great post over on Tony's blog! https://arcadeblogger.com/2024/02/10/the-automatic-services-universal-arcade-cabinet/#like-35655
  13. It’s been a couple months since a release, with the last two showing some fairly significant changes. MAME 0.262
  14. So very true, enjoy what time you have. Life can turn on a dime without warning, don't take it for granted! Merry Christmas!
  15. He always has! Fifth Element wasn't exactly a typical Sci-Fi flick, although it was pretty much a nod toward The Incal.
  16. Surrogates This is what our wealthy society is headed towards, along with dystopia for the masses!
  17. That link didn’t work for me for some reason. https://www.pcgamer.com/e3-is-dead
  18. Yeah, sorry about. I’m posting from my mobile and couldn’t edit it here.
  19. Tom’s recent GameEx update reminded me of some Mister monitor recommendations, that may carry over. 16:10 https://www.asus.com/us/displays-desktops/monitors/proart/proart-display-pa248qv/ A pretty in depth comparison here: https://misterfpga.org/viewtopic.php?t=6969
  20. I like UV brightness this one would bring! IMG_1646.avif
  21. Funny, I was just looking at these again, that one specifically.
