  1. I figured it out.. Just hit the 1 key.
  2. In the default video player I am getting this.. Letterbox to Widescreen - Zoomed Is there a way for it to show the original aspect only? I found this in GameEx.ini Aspect3b=Letterbox to Widescreen - Zoomed and changed it to this Aspect3b=Letterbox to Widescreen - Not Zoomed but it did not have an effect.
  3. Well I completely removed the codecs and reinstalled FFDShow and the audio seems to be insync now. Thanks
  4. Hello.. I have some MKV files that play fine in VLC player and Windows Media Classic, however when GameEx tries to play them the audio is lagging. Even the video preview lags by a second or two. The previews were ok before I upgraded today, however, the built in player has always lagged the audio. Any ideas? My cpu is not overloading.. I have very few programs launched.. Tried rebooting and ending programs.. Prior to the upgrade I tried reinstalling GameEx to see if the video player would work better, and it did not...still lagged audio. Not sure what to do now.
  5. GameEx.ini = GameEx.txt Log = log.txt GameEx2.txt was another ini file I found at c:\Program Files\GameEx\CONFIG\USERS\Jason. Not sure about which one to go by.. Well using the Run Last Game bat file I found out why the CHD were not working. I had a command -skip_valitidychecks that was causing it. The screensaver still isnt working though. GameEx.txt log.txt GameEx2.txt
  6. Well I have them the same as I did before... C:\Emulators\Mame\Roms\Kinst.zip C:\Emulators\Mame\Roms\Kinst\Kinst.chd That is the structure I have them. The zip in the main directory followed by a folder (using zip files name) with the CHD inside of it. That is what I read was supposed to happen. Does GameEx require the extra paths for all the CHDs, because Mame just wants that structure and is fine. I will try one and see what happens. Edit: Added a secondary rom path to kinst CHD and it did not help.
  7. I have Media Player Classic Home Cinema working with AVI and MP4 outside of GameEx. When I open GameEx and click on an MP4, the video opens fine. When I open GameEx and click on an AVI it opens WMPC and says File Not Found. Here is the command I am using. C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player Classic\mpc-hc.exe "/fullscreen" Like I said, everything opens properly outside of GameEx, but inside only the MP4's open properly. Any ideas? Edit: Tried this C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player Classic\mpc-hc.exe [/fullscreen] [/close] In CMD prompt it opens a player (no video though) Ok this opens up my MP4's just fine in GameEx....still issue with Avi
  8. Deleting info and updating the list did not help. Regular roms run fine, just not the CHD's
  9. BTW I am using Mame32Plus and the CHD load fine in the gui and cmd line version, just not in gameex. I deleted all data and am updating the list now to see if that does anything.
  10. I am now having 2 issues that I could use help with... 1. I cannot get mame attract mode working. I was able to get videos working from the c:\video directory. However if I switch that directory to c:\screensaver it just hangs. Is there any information I can provide to look into this? I would prefer to use mame with a new game every few minutes, but if I can get the c:\screensaver director working then I will just create an avi for the screensaver. 2. My chd games are not working. They attempt to load, then just show me the gameex screen again. They work in mame, just not in gameex.
  11. The below link is where I downloaded many of the Tunnelvision items. It is from this forum. Maybe grab those while they last if you want to try and piece it back together. I have managed to get most of it working except 1 or 2 avi which are not in the downloads.... http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?showtopic=7647&st=0&p=57020&hl=screensaver&fromsearch=1entry57020 It really is a good way to attract people. The youtube video from it sold me on GameEx. I think that once I get more familiar with GameEx in general I might take a crack at making some animated menus. Give me something to do, lol
  12. Those look good! I like the windows version one. I did manage to find much of the Tunnelvision theme. Rapidshare and the website where dead links, but the megaupload site had a few working ones. I managed to get most of it I believe....except the background. Does anyone have the Tunnel background by chance?
  13. Thats unfortunate.. Well if the theme is gone, how would I go about learning to create the menus like he did? I understand the menu creator and got that started. I guess those where maybe .avi files? I never worked with them but would be willing to give it a go if I had somewhere to start, lol.
  14. I hope so. I am not to fond of the actual tunnel background, lol. But all the other features that I could see looked really nice. Be quite a waste if that theme is gone now. Out of curiosity how big was the total theme?
  15. Man, been looking for hours. Everything links back to his site and its a dead site now.
