  1. My guess, without seeing your new gameex.ini file, would be possible that you still have it enabled under External Applications or you have 2 emulator slots enabled for it. Thanks for sharing the vid! Nice guitar BTW!
  2. Can we get the Plugin Setup updated to LEDBlinky 8.2.1? LEDBlinky v8.2.1 - Arcade LED Control Software and Animation Editor This is the latest version and may resolve a few issues with GameEx compatibility.
  3. One more thing to investigate would be mapping via console, csv which I came across the name when searching for similar issues: Console.csv not being used any longer? – Help and Support – Pixelcade Forum The file is located within the \Pixelcade LED Marquee root folder. More about it here: Customizing – Pixelcade And here: pixelcade/console.csv at master · alinke/pixelcade · GitHub
  4. I was able to pull in some of the marques for non-Mame Favorites by copying the logo files I had for them into the \Pixelcade LED Marquee\mame where they displayed (horribly I might add but most are not formatted for LED display). A few did not display but this may be caused by a naming fault - I was not able to locate the Favorites save location/file so will need @Tom Speirs to tell me where to look so I can confirm The fault may still lie with how Pixelcade and/or LEDBliinky is/are not setup to read the GameEx image locations as configured within the GameEx Setup Wizard > Emulator Setup. Pixelcade is dependent upon explicit locations by system names of its choosing and not the frontend,
  5. I have the 128x32 Pixelcade panel. I have yet to fully activate it on my new gaming rig I purchased last summer, nor have I fully installed any emulators outside of the integrated MAME and a few customized Windows-based games lists, but hope to do so soon so I can better troubleshoot issues such as what you are reporting. UPDATE: I was able to get Pixelcade updated on my rig and one thing I did notice is that when scrolled through the list of Favorites (which is mostly MAME entries and a few of the PC games I have installed, the default MAME marquee displays when the scroll highlights the selection. Stay tuned, I have an idea that may be a suitable workaround....
  6. Can you also attach your pixelcade log file? As this may not be all or part of a GameEx issue, have you also reached out to LEDBlinky plugin author Arzoo at http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?action=profile;u=9562 or directly via [email protected] to make him aware of the issue since his plugin is used to leverage LED Blinky?
  7. When reporting a potential issue with GameEx, please attach copies of your gameex.ini and log.txt files, in addition to your Pixelcade log file (no copy and past or pictures of these files please). Having not seen the files requested above, am I correct in assuming you are using the integrated MAME setup vs. an emulator slot?
  8. Always good to get feedback - for enhancement and feature requests, you may want to submit an entry here:
  9. Glad to see a solution was found. I would not have thought it to be the LAV filters given the errors presented. Since GameEx isn't behind a paywall any longer, I wonder if you could do so without incurring any licensing issues?

  11. Not sure it has anything to do with it but sometimes I get lucky. Is there a reason why you are running Windows in Test Mode? Is it possible that the resource access is being hampered when trying to return, thus hanging? Can you test in normal mode?
  12. From recently triaged issues, I think 15.56 might be a better test and before we encountered recent issues due to cross-platform changes.
  13. You can call me Mike if you prefer. I am fine either way.
  14. Please attach copies of your gameex.ini (located under \GameEx\Config or \GameEx Arcade Edition\config) and log.txt (located under \GameEx\Log or \GameEx Arcade Edition\Log) files as previously requested several times now. The N95 also sports an Intel UHD Integrated GPU (make not given in any stats for the model N95. Have you tried playing the .mp4 files directly through Windows Media Player? Results? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the graphics drivers? The link below refers to Windows 10 but the same applies to Windows 11. https://www.appgeeker.com/resource/can-not-play-videos-with-windows-10.html

    Help please

Hi there - to ensure a quicker response please note the following: When reporting an issue, it is best to attach copies of your pinballx.ini and log.txt files for review Be mindful of where you are in the forums when you open a thread - this one was opened in the GameEx > General forum Also, noted that you said "the legends pinball table does not recognize it and won't turn on." Are you trying to modify an At Games Legends Pinball table? If so, is it running PinballX as the frontend? Thanks!
  16. Since the issue is occurring for your specidic N100 Mini PC build, there may not be a solution specific to it. Please attach copies of the previously requested gameex.ini and log.txt files for review. Also, confirm if this is the same N100 powered mini PC: Be aware that there may not be much that can be done if the issue is due to integrated GPUs as we have seen various issues in the past that have impacted some laptop or standard PC builds and the only alternative was to run an onboard GPU. In the mean time we do ask for the following info: Since the "Ni100 Intel" is installed in quite a few mini-PCs, please provide: Mini PC Manufacturer name and Model A manufacturers link to the one you purchased A purchasing link for your mini PC (i.e. Amazon, Best Buy, etc.) This information may help towards a solution or at least provide others another make/model to avoid.
  17. Welcome back! Some things have changed but most remain the same.
  18. I split your post to its own thread. The issues reported by Jombee are related to older Arcade VGA which is a legacy product that has been losing support over the years. If you are having a problem, please describe it in detail, not "other people are reporting it" anf attach copies of your gameex.ini and log.txt files for review. You brought up codecs. A few questions: Are you having an issue just with videos? Are you using ONLY using LAV codecs filters?
  19. The Strong National Museum of Play has announced the 12 games nominated in 2024 for the World Video Game Hall of Fame: Asteroids Elite Guitar Hero Metroid Myst Neopets Resident Evil Tokimeki Memorial Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater Ultima You Don’t Know Jack Read more here: World Video Game Hall of Fame Cast your vote once per day between March 14 - 21 2024: Players Choice Ballot
  20. Thank you for reporting back with your solution! Glad you got it fixed!
  21. You're welcome! The thanks goes to @Phantom as I chanced upon a thread where he noted having it installed and had a recent gameex.ini file with the Clone Hero settings enclosed.
  22. Any other changes occur within the last three days? Do any of the ROMS launch directly from MAME since the error occured?
  23. 3 MONTH UPDATE: So far really enjoying this handheld a lot. Using Retroarch to emulate N64, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance. Other than some issues (which are fixable) with controls assignments, it just works and very well. Will give GameEx Arcade Edition a go soon and add to the emulator mix.
  24. Nice theme you got there! Tell us more! Links to find and additional stats of your build (storage, GPU and CPU stats, etc.)!
