  1. This is resolved, I moved the directory and installed the 32 bit to root of drive... all is good. The controller now works with the -config and its looking good.
  2. OK, then do I need to enable them to play somewhere? My background is always just has the name of the game scrolling across.
  3. I am trying to get this going as well, once downloaded where do you place the files and do I point something to that folder in Gameex setup?
  4. Windows 10 does recognize the device, it will register imput in wordpad and word. I have not tried MAME 32 bit with Gameex. My OS drive (C) is a small SSD, I would prefer to install all files on a much larger SATA drive (E). If you think I would do better starting over with MAME 32, just let me know and I can.
  5. In the setup of Gameex under advanced mame options listing I have it there, but it seems to have no effect.
  6. Is there a way to have the “command line” associated with the desktop launch icon, or do you have to type it from a command prompt each time?
  7. I have gotten the program to run but when I go into Mame in the program it says no games found, but under all games they are there and seem to launch fine. My other issue is the controller .cfg. I have a HotRod controller, and the .cfg is in the Mame64 Ctrlr folder, in my old setup using Mame32 I could just set the HotRod controller from within Mame and apply to all games, but this version does not support that. Do I configure that within Ganmeex or via a command line \switch? Thank you for your help.
  8. This file may be the one needed, it was under CONFIG. GameEx.ini
  9. One step forward and then I am back... I am attaching my log file, the other file GameexEx.ini is not present. 10. Tom, I did get the email and I am sorry but I assumed when I put the username and password in the setup that would register it. I have now applied the registry patch file from the email and the "nag screen" is gone. Thank you. I did watch Austin's video and I am still having issues. I believe the root of my problems is that my install is not on my boot "C" drive. My Mame and other files are all on a storage drive. A number of the install folders the program is looking for like snap, flyers and cabinets are not in the path, and are not created. I am working thru it and have at least got it up and running at this point. I may need some guidance to get all the paths sorted out etc. I will keep posted. Thank you for the reply.
  11. Hello, I have had a Mame32 Arcade for years. I recently lost the hard drive and am now setting it back up and I thought I would give Gameex a try. I am having difficulty getting it to set up. Despite registering I still get the nag screen, and I dont seem to have the setup configured correctly o point at my roms, it says no games found. I searched and couldnt find any quick setup guides and the video on youtube is an older version that doesnt function the same. Any help would be appreciated.
