  1. Gotcha. Thanks for all the help.
  2. ?? Just curious what the limits are as I wasn't able to find them documented anywhere and didn't want to inadvertently bump up against anything..
  3. Wow - that's awesome! THANK YOU! Does the limit apply to FTP downloads also? It appears there's content posted to the forum (eg: the docklet wheel images) that's not on the FTP server. Is that right, or have I just not found it all yet?
  4. Does the limit apply to all types of accounts, or do contributing members get a higher # of downloads per day? There seems to be some really great resources here..is this something you're able to increase or is it a web host issue?
  5. (Reposting here as I accidentally put this in the wrong forum (FAQs) earlier. UGH! Tom or other admin, could you plz delete that?) Can someone explain the various download limits for files posted to the forum (vs the FTP server)? I was trying to do some docklet downloads this AM from the PinballX Media Projects forum, and got a message after the 22nd one (files were all posted individually) that there's a 22 file limit per day. I used to contribute annually before the site went free and would be happy to again. Do contributing members get more downloads per day? Could take quite a long time to build out a PBX front end to my cabinet with > 100 tables.. Thanks for any/all help.
  6. Hi..I did a search and looked through the forums, but can't seem to find the answer. I went to download some docklet images today, and got a message after the 22nd one that I can apparently only download 22 files a day (?). Is there a higher limit available for sponsoring the forum via donations? I used to do that every year before it went "free". Could take a heck of a long time to build out a PBX front end to a cabinet at 22 files per day, when one has over 100 tables.. TIA.. PS: apologies if this is in the wrong forum..wasn't sure where I could post it.
  7. PS: I still can't create videos from within PBX (nothing happens when I use the hotkeys), but long as I can do it repeatedly from Game Manager am good to go..
  8. Update..I finally got it to work by generating the videos from Game Manager. 1) Guess I didn't wait long enough for the videos to generate the first time..thought it was locked when it was just spinning on video creation. 2) Learned that you have to check "Hide Backglass" in Game Manager, or the Backglass video doesn't get generated (weird) 3) Multiple versions of a game with the same name / different version #s in Game Manager may or may not be an issue..didn't spend enough time digging into this, but when I deleted a second instance of Attack from Mars and just ran on the first / remaining instance, it worked. So..what does "Hide Backglass" mean / do in Game Manager? When it's checked, the Backglass still launches when the table does. Confusing..
  9. Probably because it hung and I had to reboot. I did post the entire log file.. I'll try it again, but if it hangs, I'll have to reboot and the log file will probably be truncated this next time also..
  10. Sure..is it the same log file, or a different one?
  11. Hi, everyone. I'm totally stuck attempting to create table and backglass videos, and need some help.. Running PBX 5.5 on Win 10 with an i7. GTX 1060. Playfield and BG monitors, aligned normally (PF first, BG second, aligned tops left to right). PinDMD real DMD. No matter what I do, or how I configure hot keys..I can't seem to create videos regardless of whether I use the defined hotkey after launching a table from PBX or even via Game Manager's "create videos". ffmpeg.exe (latest version as of yesterday) is installed in the PinballX folder. When I use the defined "capture" hotkey after a table is launched...nothing at all happens. No notifications. Nothing in the log file saying recording started, etc. FWIW, trying to capture screenshots via the hotkey defined in settings ALSO doesn't do anything. When I try to capture videos using Game Manager, I get a very slow rendering of the table that (hard to explain)..repeats. All table pixels get drawn, from top to bottom, slowly. Then, they get redrawn with more "vivid" colors - top to bottom, slowly again. Then a third time, etc. Backglass is shown static on the BG monitor. Is this supposed to happen? I can create playfield only videos (albeit, huge - hundreds of megabytes) via NVidia GEFORCE Experience (typical method..use the recording hotkey defined in the program). Am attaching the log and config files. Would appreciate any and all help as I've literally wasted days of time at this point going in circles on this and am getting absolutely nowhere. Thanks.. log.txt PinballX.ini ScreenRes.txt
  12. Think I've figured it out. I don't have any joystick or controller attached (just using keyboard while testing) and there looks to be a 60 second timeout on looking for a joystick. Log shows: 18:51:30.1 Initialize joystick 18:52:30.5 No Joysticks attached (note - 60 seconds later) Looking through the rest of the log, PinballX starts almost immediately after. I just wasn't waiting long enough.. Appreciate the help!
  13. Ah - makes sense..but won't running the 32-bit version be slower? Will give it a try and see what happens.
  14. OK..any reason why if I'm on a 64-bit version of Windows?
