Did not think of that Scutters - thank you. Still new to this scene but love me some pinball though! (and yes, i will post the working file when I get a chance)

The hardrive is fairly new and solid state but I will take a look. PinballX is the only thing that gives me some trouble right now from time to time. It just erases all the pinballX settings and then it gives me trouble getting them back in the software and saving. It takes multiple attempts for it to save for some reason.

it did it again and i have exited properly. odd thing is that wen you try and put all the settings back in pinballx the way they were, it takes a few attempts before it takes. it also erased the backglass setting in the vpinball screenres.txt notepad. did that 2 times now.

I may have shut it down incorrectly at times. perhaps that is the culprit. thanks

hello! this would be about the 4th time it has happened and it is very random. for no reason that i can replicate, when i boot up the computer for the day pinballx will boot up but all my settings in pinballx are completely gone. everything from button mapping to file mapping have been wiped. fairly easy to put back together but just so random. i figured this time i will make you aware since last time i had an issue and posted, you guys fixed in very quickly. thanks a bunch PinballX.ini log.txt

Sorry I am late getting back to everyone; got drunk last night. I am at work right now but will try the new version when I get home and see if it fixed it and will report back. I really appreciate the fast responses and all the help! Great team! I am using Ultimarc i-pac2 for the interface if you still needed to know.

thank you for the response! i believe I attached everything you requested and i added the settings log to be sure. not 100% sure what you mean by interface but i using windows 10 wit VPX 10.6 log.txt [SETTINGS].log PinballX.ini

hello all! when i am in pinball X front end and hit the volume key, pinballX will crash and my taskbar dissapears on my desktop. I can get the taskbar back by relaunching pinballx but if I hit the volume key it will just crash again. If I launch a game though pinball x it will play but if I hit the volume while in the the game, i will not be able to get out of the game by hitting the exit button. The button seems to be disabled and I have to close pinball x using the task manager. For some reason only the volume keys (up and down) causes these challenges. This is windows 10 and I have run out of ideas to try and fix this. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
