  1. I'm interested in this answer as well, mine does the same thing.
  2. Problem solved, after loading and reloading I was not running VPX tables as administrator...
  3. Problem solved, I've read it 100 times to run as administrator but it "wasn't" running as administrator... Ha Lay Lew Ya! Thanks for the help!
  4. Hello, please help! My computer is basically done with PBX as a front end running VPX, VPT, and FX3 tables. I've read everything I could find about PBX exiting the emulators and it's not fixed my issue. I've mapped a bunch of different combinations of buttons and VPX will just not exit back to PBX properly. VPT and FX3 tables immediately back out to the PBX menu, but VPX tables will not. Screenshot attached of what's running when I hit ALT TAB, it seems like extra stuff is running but VPT tables look about the same. I don't know if this looks normal or not... Tried reloading PBX, VPX, and just about everything but this issue persists! I can't figure this out on my own and it's the last thing I need to fix before putting the computer in the cab and wrapping this one up! Please help!!!!
  5. I think this might be the INI file, ( C:\Pinballx\Config ), hopefully somebody can see where I went wrong! Thanks
  6. Ok, here's the log, can't find the INI file though... Let me know where it's at and I can post it as well. The log shows below where I started PBX, opened South Park VPT and exited right back to PBX. I then opened South Park VPX and it would not exit back to PBX. I had to hit the Q button and it went to the VPX screen, I hit ALT TAB and it then loaded back up PBX. I then loaded Space Invaders VPX and had to do the same process. Finally I loaded Star Trek 25th VPT table and could back right out to PBX like I think It should work.... Such a simple thing it seems like, hopefully someone can see what I'm missing from the log below. Once again, any help appreciated! Thanks!
  7. Checked it and I wasn't running as admin, but that didn't fix the problem. VPT tables back right out to PBX, and VPX tables still require me to hit Q and close VPX then it will reload PBX. Please let me know any other thoughts, I'll try Anything! Thanks!
  8. Building my first cab and lovin it, made a million mistakes so far and figured most out using these threads. Thanks a ton for everyone's help setting these games up and discussing each issue. One nemesis remains that I haven't found the answer I need yet. Please help if you can. I have PBX running with both VPX and VPT tables enabled at this time. PBX scrolls through all the games fine and loads up both types and plays great. Exiting VPT tables works fine as well, it just pops back to the wheel to select the next table. When trying to exit a VPX table however, the only way to exit the game is to hit "Q" and close the VPX game. I can then hit ALT TAB and it will load back up PBX to select another table. I've read a ton of threads where people map a different key and resolve the issue, but I've tried em all with no luck. PBXRecorder also will not exit correctly (like VPT tables) after recording the vids on VPX tables. The game stays running after the video is captured until you click the tray icon and close all screens. Is there a setting I need to check for VPX that allows the game to close down or back out properly? I had 10.4 running and this issue, just loaded the 10.5 stuff and it's still happening. I apologize if the "fix" has been written somewhere and I missed it, please help here or direct me to a thread that addresses the issue I'm having. Thanks a bunch!
  9. PBX won't exit after capturing all the DMD, Backglass and Table vids...

Captured vids for all my tables, got it all laid out correctly and displaying for each game in the front end and it looks great!

However... I now cannot exit PBX from the game select screen.  It all loads up and looks great, scrolls through all the games and changes all the vids accordingly.  BUT, you can't move backwards, only forward.  To exit, I've got to find the PBX icon in the tray on the DMD screen and hard close it.  When you select a game and play it, you cannot exit  back to PBX either...  You have to hit Q to quit VPX, then find the PBX tray icon and close it.

If you hit ALT TAB while you're playing a table, you can see the DMD and Backglass vids still running in the background along with the rom driven dmd for the table and the b2s backglass.

Tried everything and spent hours trying to find a solution and re-loading all the programs with no success.  PBX worked great when all I had were screens of the DMD, BG and Tables, but I want all the vids running!

Tried assigning the exit button to random other keyboard buttons, but I can't get anything to work and I'm thinking the background vids are messing something up.

This is my first build, I'm hoping I've done something dumb and not checked a box somewhere, PLEEEEEEASE Help!

    Thanks!

      Ok, one problem solved...

I had "no" selected somehow on the exit screen settings selection.  Now VPT tables will exit to PBX, and PBX will exit itself pressing escape.

VPX tables will still not exit via pressing the escape key.  I'm pressing "Q" to quit the game, then ALT TAB and closing VPX.  It then will return to PBX.  Once the screens are set in my cabinet this won't be an easy task, hoping theres a fix out there as I'm just starting to load VPX tables to the game manager.

It's probably something else I did causing it not to work, please point me in the right direction.

      Thanks!

Still can't figure out the VPX table issue...  All games will load and work in PBX, but VPX tables will not exit back to PBX for some reason.  Please help if you can!!!

      Thanks!
