  1. So just been doing some upgrades to GameEX 16.44 (64bit install) and LedBlinky 7.1.0 and when I first started up GameEx LEDBlinky wasn't working. So I referred to my notes and they said fire up the Setup Wizard, go to Setup Plugins and Tick the LedBlinky v7 Box. Except that seems to have disappeared and I just have the LedBlinky v6.2 option. So I ticked that instead and LedBlinky started working again, even though I'm running v 7.1.0, so just curious as to what happened there and why it changed, and is that everyone else is doing? Weird

Mmmm, when that happens to me it's usually because something is wrong in the Emulator itself, nothing to do with GameEX. Try closing GameEx down and running sf2 in MAME, if it works then it is something to do with Game Ex, if it doesn't then fix MAME first!
  3. Thanks RedDog, Yep I've tried different times and nothing seems to work. I've given up, BSNES won't launch Full Screen, Snes9x won't recognise my second joystick :-( ZSNES seems to work fine for me :-)
  4. I'm trying to get BSNES to run in Fullscreen, you don't seem to be able launch it Fullscreen from the command line? I thought Send Keys might be the answer as you can force it into Fullscreen after it is loaded by pressing F11 So I've gone into the Advanced Emulator Setup and set: Wait Before Keys 4000 Keys to Send {F11} But it's not working, has anyone solved this or can anyone spot something wrong with my Send Keys syntax?
  5. Ian, I personally use an Analogue Joystick for those games but I've just had a little play with the controls. Taking Daytona USA as an example: Load the Daytona USA ROM Hit Escape to come out of Fullscreen Select Game - Configure Controls Un-Tick the boxes next to Steering, Accelerate and Brake (otherwise it expects Analogue Input) Up, Down, Left and Right now work, I can hold down the Up Arrow to keep accelerating and use the Left and Right Arrows to steer! Hope that helps, spiffo.
  6. OK, I seem to be able to setup anything in the LED Input Map Tab without a crash. If I try and start configuring stuff in the Profile Editor Tab, pretty soon the Setup Wizard will crash. Looking through the PluginLCD Log (attached) I see an ERROR popping up: 02/10/2017 21:06:03: ERROR @ ThreadException (Program) 02/10/2017 21:06:03: Could not find a part of the path 'C:\GameEx\PLUGINS\PluginLCD\Profiles\GameEx.ini'. I don't seem to even have a Profiles Folder there, so certainly no GameEx.ini in that location. PluginLCD.log
  7. Mmmmm, Game Ex Online disabled in the Setup Wizard, also killed all Game Ex processes in Task Manager. Still doing it :-( I was using LEDBlinky at first, but disabled that and wanted to try PluginLCD instead, could there be a conflict?
  8. OK, so I'm running Game Ex v14.93 and just installed LCD/LED Plugin v2.90 When I try to Configure the Plugin from the Setup Wizard - Setup Plugins, at a random point usually when I click on a Tab or change a setting I get a Windows 10 Error message saying 'SetupWizard has Stopped Working' and Windows closes the Setup Wizard. Can anyone shed some light on this? Which logs would you like? Thanks, spiffo.
  9. OK, so I'm back with a new problem that's had me stumped for the last few days. I'm trying to use CPWizard, and it works absolutely fine if I run MAME on it's own, press L and the menu comes up, exit and go back into MAME, sweet! If I try the same thing with Game Ex Arcade though weird display things happen. The first time I just get the Game Ex Loading Screen for a few seconds then a black screen, I think the CPWizard Menu is there as I can still exit back to MAME but I just can't see anything. The Second time I Press L, I see the CPWizard Menu for about a second then it disappears to a Black Screen, and again I think it is there as I can still exit it out back to MAME. I've tried all the display options in the Game Ex Wizard and all the different display options I can find in CPWizard but all I can do is make the problem worse. I've even tried updating Video Card Drivers but that didn't help. I've got a AMD Radeon HD5450, so I'm wondering if it's an AMD Driver issue? GameEx.ini log.txt CPWizard.ini CPWizard.log
  10. OK, now I feel a bit stupid. In the Setup Wizard screenshot above, you'll notice a line that says 'Show Vert/Horiz - Auto Based on Display' That line is filtering out all games that are Vertical Shooters / Scrollers because of my normal horizontal display, no wonder Space Invaders and Centipede didn't show up, DOH! I still can't get the Update List to not verify the ROMs, if you check the log it always includes -verifysets, but when I checked the verify.dat file that gets stored in users\'username'\appdata\local\temp and found the missing games in there and listed as GOOD I knew it couldn't be a verification problem. Well anyway, I've learnt loads, thank you very much to everyone who has helped, much appreciated. spiffo.
  11. Currently using Mame 0.186 The ROMS have been audited with RomCenter, I used the MAME exe as a source, as you can see from the screeenshot, it tells me they are all good.
  12. OK, yep I've installed v14.91 of Arcade. I've matched my MAME.ini ROM path to the same as the one in the Setup Wizard, run the update list and still the same problem. As one example, Space Invaders (invaders.zip) does not show up in the All Games List, it runs fine from within MAME and if I do a search inside Game Ex it shows up and I can launch it and play it. But it just will not show up in the All Games List! Current files attached: mame.ini from the mame folder GameEx.ini log.txt after an Update List mame.ini GameEx.ini log.txt
  13. In the Setup Wizard under Advanced MAME Settings, I don't have the Verify ROMS Option, see attached screenshot. Could it be that the Arcade Edition just doesn't have the ability to switch that off? Or is it not that simple?
