  1. I am going back through setting up my favorites after needing to force defaults to solve the crash problem I listed in another thread, and going into each game and scrolling to that part of the menu is taking quite a while. Having a hot key to add/remove favorites from the games list would be nice.
  2. right now the spinner controls the x axis of the mouse when in GamEx Evo. Is there a way to bind it to scroll through the game list?
  3. I see duplicate listings in the MAME Selection page of the Setup Wizard. I am assuming SL stands for Software List, but beyond that not sure how they differed. Is it purely the default paths chosen in the Emulator Setup page? (e.g. /MAME/coleco vs. [PATH_ROMS]\[SYS_GAMEEXNAME])
  4. Ok, I am uploading to /-GameEx-/Other Uploads/jsimon Evo User Date Folder/ Feel free to delete it after you pull it down. I'll keep an eye out on this thread if you find anything. Thanks!
  5. I zipped up the directory, but the file is huge. (174MB) I looked at what is taking allot of space and [LIST_MAME].xml 213 MB and [LIST_MAME_MINI].xml is 172MB. What would be the best way to get you the files?
  6. Forcing the default settings brought it back. Is there anything from the UserData Folder that I could zip up and send so you could take a look at it? Thanks!
  7. I guess reinstalling .net on Windows 10 is not that straight forward. I can't seem to find an uninstall. When I try to reinstall it says I already have the latest version and stops. I did reinstall GameEx Evo 1.05, but still no luck. Any other things I might try or information I could provide to help debug? Thanks!
  8. All the emulators seem to work running something from the SetupWizard. I tried the .net repair tool, but it didn't fix anything. I guess I'll try reinstalling .net.
  9. It is Windows 10. Was there something in what I attached that looked like Windows 7? There was no dialog box to dismiss when it crashed. I had to go into Event Manager to see what happened. I attached the log pointed to by Event Manager, but I was not sure if it was useful. I am traveling for business this week, but will try reinstalling the .net framework when I get back home. Thanks for the support!
  10. GameEx Evo started crashing on startup a few days ago. The logo comes up and then just disappears. I have attached the ini file. I was digging around in Event Manager looking for any evidence of what was happening and it had this as well as the 2nd attached file. I'm not sure if that is useful or not. Let me know if there is anything else that would be helpful. Thanks! 11. Since the interface is totally different than GameEx, I'm a little lost....I see how to add a game to Favorites, but I don't seem to be able to find the Favorites menu to launch these selected games. Is there a way to organize Favorites into separate lists like by emulator, year, manufacturer, etc.? Another question is if there a way to work with and edit the game databases offline on another computer? I would like to clean up some things, but would like to do it on my laptop as opposed to standing at my cabinet. (are these the db3 files that I see in the file system?) Lastly, I was trying to edit game info from the setup wizard, and each time I tried, the wizard crashed. I don't have the detailed crash info with me, but thought I'd ask if there were any known bugs or common config mistakes that might cause this. I can create another thread and upload anything that would help debug this later if needed. Thanks!
  12. Thanks! I see the exit config at the bottom of the GameEx emulator config, but it's not entirely clear what all the entries do. Is this documented somewhere? Is there also still things that need to be edited directly in the MAME ini file for these emulators. The problem I see seems to be limited to PC emulators. The console emulators seem to be consistent with the Arcade games.
  13. I finally got through some issues getting the MESS emulation in MAME when using GameEX Evolution. (Pretty much just issues with managing paths) One thing I have found is that some emulations do not seem to support the same keys to exit, pause, and configure the inputs. (Defaults esc, p, and Tab) These all seem to work with Arcade games and ColecoVision, but not with C64 and a800, I have been searching around, but not seen anything specific. Has anyone else come across this? Are they handled differently? Thanks!
  14. I am also using 197. I am using a very small list of ROM's to debug my configuration. But despite only having 59 roms in the directory, when I edit the gamer liste in the Setup Wizard, it says I have 2312 games.
  15. Thanks! I did see some command line args for multi-processor support. I might see if that does anything. How about enabling frame dropping? Does that sometimes yield acceptable results?
