  1. Thanks for the reply Carny... I'm sure running AHK's are not too hard to implement... I'm just not too brushed up with running AHK's. I did however make that PinballX ini file into a read only file. It seems to be running fine. I don't know if this would cause issues later. I understand that I would have to turn off the read only if I were to make changes to my settings. Do you see any issues that may come up doing it this way?
  2. Just thought if this was an option... Is there a way to set a table as a default start table? I know currently the table that starts on start-up is the last table played or the last table shown on the wheel. This option is not important to me if it doesn't currently exist.
  3. Thank you for this "Outhere"... The only problem I was having was when I would close out of a game, it would remain on the desktop... it wouldn't get back to PX even though it was in my task bar. I added the arcaderender/ stayinram and that seemed to do the trick. Now if i can only get someone to help me with my dmd issues.

    LAV Filters

It's a fresh Windows 7 install with really no other programs running... no anti-virus.. it does have a steam client running at the moment along with a wifi usb adapter just to help me transfer files from my main computer, but I'm pretty much finished now so I'll be removing the wifi. I have no need for it. I did add a USB port to my cab in case I need to update something later. So to answer your question, I really don't have many resources running. Like I mentioned, the games themselves run great with pretty nice graphics boosted up. I don't want to worry too much about the videos at this point. I will probably remove them and just have the images displayed. No issues at all with the images. I'll try the PBX recorder when I get the chance. Right now, I'm having a different issue that I'm going to try and correct. I'm going to see if I can read up in some posts about it. It has to do with my real DMD flickering with PBFX2/dmdext. It seems fine when I launch PBFX2 first but I can't do this in Pinball X. If you've heard of this issue and happen to have a link for me to read, I would appreciate it. Thanks for your help.

    LAV Filters

Source? If you mean where I got them, I got them through the FTP.

    LAV Filters

Not being able to play any of the table videos, I installed LAV Filters 0.68.1. Now the videos play but they're stuttering a tiny bit... not too much but enough to notice. They tend to play fine outside of PBX. I also noticed that my real DMD (pindmdv3) stutters just a bit when there is a video playing. Am I just out of memory or is there something I can adjust in the LAV filters? I didn't make any adjustments to anything when I installed the filters... not sure if I had to. I'm dismissing that it's a memory issue because all of my games play very nice & smooth (PinballFX2, VP, FP). Running: Windows 7 64 bit Pentium Dual Core 2.50 Hz 4 Gb Ram Nvidia 750ti
  7. Forgive me for not understanding but I don't think we're talking about the same thing. I'm talking about Microsoft's UAC or User Account Control bypass. It's supposedly prevents an unrecognized program from making changes to the computer. There is a setting to turn this feature off but doing so leaves your computer open to viruses and what not... so they say. Once I have everything downloaded that I need, I plan to turn this feature off but also disconnect the computer from the internet. UNLESS, there is indeed a way to make an exception just for VP921. I only have a handful of tables for VP921 so even if I can't get it to work the way I want, I can simply give up on those tables. However, I did want to ask a slightly different question regarding VP921 tables in case there are others who may use VP921 tables differently. Now I haven't tested VP921 one tables with anything other than VP992 but in VP992, most of the VP921 table do not work properly. I've done some research and it seems like there is a way to upgrade them to VP992, but it also seems a bit complicated to me. So the question is... Is there another version of VP9xx that is not available in the single VP installer that runs VP921 tables (without getting the UAC prompt) that is NOT VP921? I'm really just curious if there is another way to handle this.
  8. Hello Again PcTeknic, As far as starting VPinball921.exe... did you do anyting to bypass the User Permission Settings? I have PBX in a cabinet and don't really have a need for a keyboard, even though I do have one but it gets annoying to have to bypass this.
  9. PcTeknic... So is your example a few posts above correct?... or can you give me an updated example of the code?
