  1. Ok, mem test passed with no errors. All my pc components are brand new, but could be defective, of course. I don't understand this well Tom. I thougth the LAV codecs are included on the installer posted by tthurman in a post before.... Need I to install other codecs than PBX site ????
  2. - Ok, SFC runned without errors. - The crashes happened with latest and previous drivers. I think this is not the problem - No windows updates recently - I tried both. Same result. Uninstalled now all codecs, pass ccleaner and installed that you linked. Cross my fingers. Will try it and comment. Crashes are very random.
  3. Ok, trying to do my best.... Attached report too. Report.wer Report2.wer
  4. Hi Tom, I don't know if I understand your answer, but if you mean reinstalling the operating system, I must say that this pc is clean. I installed the operating system from scratch and the only program that is installed on it is GameEx in conjunction with emulators, nothing more. Windows is fully updated and drivers too. I am convinced that will not be a problem of GameEx, but I don't see the solution in reinstalling everything again, sincerely. Thank you very much for your answer.
  5. Thanks for your reply Tom, I see nothing can be done here...It's a shame...
  6. HI Tthurman, I think haven't installed the AMD Gaming Evolved. This program is not in my programs list. If I see the add or remove programs, only see the AMD install manager, and this is the list of programs installed with this application:
  7. Hi Tom, sorry for this but GameEx continues crashing ramdonly. As you can see in the background log, there is an error that continues appearing on it. I don't know if this is related to the crashes, but here it is... Only can say to help that GameEx only crashes when I'm seeing the list of games, never crash when an emulator launch. This make me think it's something related to video or something that makes it crash. As you can see on the normal log, I was playing and listing games until it crash. The crashes are random. It can crash in a minute or in an hour, but always when you are on GameEx menu. When GameEx crash, I see the tipycal Windows message saying the program crash, but if i see the process list, GameEx and Hideos are running, and need to close the process manually. Desktop screen is black, and icons are hidden because Hideos is running. Only when I close the process manually can re-launch GameEx normaly. All this is very strange, because Windows says the program crashes, but program still running (I can't access it, but the process is open) I don't know what to do to solve this..... Sorry for this, but for me is a big problem. background_log.txt GameExOnlineLog.txt log.txt LogArtWorkDownload.txt RepositoryManager.log SetupWizard.log GameEx.ini
  8. First of all, I want to thank Rochabian and Draco1962 for your help to solve my problem, many thanks my friends!!! Finally I managed to run my games collection of Commodore Amiga CD32. I decided to install the fs-uae emulator, because I think it is a bit easier to configure than win-uae. Once checked out GameEx that the emulator worked with the games, I just had to make the typical configuration setting with Setup Wizard, and the command line in my case is: fs-uae.exe --fullscreen = 1 --amiga-model = CD32 --cdrom-drive-0 = "[rompath] / [ROMFILE]" All seems to work wonderfully!!! also my controllers inside games!!! I have to say I did not know this system before, but I have been surprised by some of the games and their graphics. I think that this was a good system in its time. Thanks again to all of you for the help friends. My noob problem is solved!!!!!
  9. Hi Shroud!!! Steps 1) and 2) done perfectly. I'll try step 3) to make sure all is working as expected. I'll continue doing the rest of the Master System set. If my work allows me, I will try to have it finished in a few weeks. Thanks!!!
  10. Thank you Draco!! What emulator are you using for the Amiga CD32 system?
  11. Hello everyone!! I would like to configure the emulator for Amiga CD32 and wants your help to find the easiest way to do it. I have seen several posts in the forum regarding configuration of Win-UAE, but it is not clear if with my set of roms is valid to follow those steps. It is recommended to use the Win-uae launcher, but I don't know if my roms set is compatible with this launcher. My set roms are "Redump". Are.zip files that contains * .bin and * .cue. What would be the easyest way to configure GameEx to launch these games? Do I need to mount the images on a virtual drive before launching? Is there a tutorial on how to do everything step by step? I tried before set this emulator and I've never gotten work .... I guess I'm not doing things right. Thank you for your help
  12. Hi bobrpggamer!!! You can configure your emulator with setup wizard and point the rom folder to bat files are located. Make sure type in the rom filter the *.bat GameEx will launch the bat and the bat will run your game. In the command line put: "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" Comment if you have problems doing this.
  13. Hi Tom, I've taken some time to answer because I wanted to be sure that the error had been corrected. I tried GameEx for several hours and it seems that the crashes are gone. I wanted to thank you for your quick solution to the problem with the last update. As always, you solve the problems very quickly and that makes GameEx the best frontend. Thank you for your great work Tom.
  14. Thanks for you reply Tom. I hope It could be the solution to my problem. Thank you very much
  15. Hi all!! Bad news from here... My GameEx setup continue crashing randomly and can't do nothing to resolve it... As some of you know, I post this problem on the forum some days ago, the problem supposed resolved, but now I see it's not... I'm desperate... Attached logs. The message Windows shows when GameEx crash is: I saw the GameEx log and all seems to be correct, but there is another log called "background_log" that seems to have a problem. I don't understand what's the meaning of that problem or if could be the reason of my crashes. As you know, I've reinstalled GameEx several times to try correct the problem, but this has no effect. The crashes are random. Sometimes I can navigate and play games without problems for hours, but other times when I navigating throught list the crash appears and GameEx closes. My video drivers are up to date, and Windows Updates are up to date. The LAV codecs are installed correctly, and I haven't another programs but emulators. This is my machine for gamin. I don't use it for anything else... Please, any suggestions to try solve this big problem? Today installed latest version, but the problem still happening randomly.... Thanks in advance to all of you. background_log.txt log.txt GameEx.ini

  17. Ok, after trying for about an hour GameEx apparently the crashes are gone. I can not say that the problem is solved, because the crashes was random, but I think I'm on the right way. I am very proud to belong to this great community that is GameEx. The best of this frontend is people that help in forums and this is wonderful. Thank all of you very much to all your support and help in my problem. I am deeply grateful, as always.
  18. Ok, saved the files and the Blue Neon LCD theme on a folder. Installed latest LAV codecs from here https://github.com/Nevcairiel/LAVFilters/releases Try reinstalling GameEx and see what happens....
  19. Hi Adultery!!! I don¡t use startup video, but I use custom startup music/sound. I did't try different theme, but I can do that with default theme If this could be the solution. I love my actual theme, but if this is the cause of the problem.... I think I have the LAV codecs installed, but only to make sure, what are the latest or recommended version I have to install? Where can I download it? Thanks in advance for your kindly help trying resolve my problem.....
  20. Yes, I think Tom could know what to do to try solve the problem.... I'm out of ideas....
  21. An unhandled win32 exception ocurred in GameEx.exe [3940]. This is the message appears when I push the "debug" button when GameEx crash. Any ideas?
  22. Hi Stigzler!! The last log has not any error because GameEx closes with tipycal message of Windows "this program closed ...." That's the reason for not complete log of GameEx, because closed anormaly. My pc drivers are all up to date, and this machine is only to run GameEx and emulators, I haven't any other program installed on it... It seems some times GameEx crash for a video problem, other times retrieving information from cache files or databases... I don't know what to try to solve the problem. The first log problem seems to be solved deleting the rss feed from my theme. I thought this was the cause of the crashes, but I see is not solved... Now I need to know what is causing the problem to try solve it. Thanks another time for your reply.
  23. Another crash,,,, :-( Now seems to crash retrieving database information.... Attached log.... Please, any suggestions to solve this problem?? I can't play anything more than few minutes after crash..... log.txt
