  1. I actually figured this one out already. changing this section from true to false in the table script fixes it ' wait for the animation to end While UltraDMD.IsRendering = False WEnd
  2. 2 tables have an odd issue but no others. When launching JP Salas Diablo and Stranger Things from Pinballx it seems focus is off the playfield. The only way to get the table to function at this point is to manually click on the playfield. These tables launch without needing to click on the playfield when launching directly from VPX. Any help is appreciated.
  3. Holy crap i just figured it out. I noticed in the pinballx.ini there was not a line monitor = x for the Display Section [Display] windowed=False monitor=0 this line was missing ( as soon as i added this line everything worked ) not sure how or why this was missing. rotate=270 WheelAutoCrop=False PlayFieldBrightness=250 FullScreenWindowed=False
  4. interestingly if i set backglass to display 3 the backglass shows on display 3 correctly so obviously the monitor is working just the dmd refuses to show
  5. This is a second attempt at an existing issue i hope someone would have some insight into a fix. The DMD window refuses to display on 3rd monitor or any monitor actually. ( hide dmd is not checked for any table in game manager ) 3 screens 1: playfield 1920x1080 2: Backglass 1920x1080 3: dmd - 1600x900 Table video displays fine on monitor 1, backglass video or image display fine on monitor 2. In the settings application if i set DMD display as 3 the backglass shows on correct screen but the table video moves to display 3 where the dmd should be. If i set DMD to display 2 where the backglass should be the table video moves to display 2 and nothing shows on display 1 or 3. If i set dmd display to anything else 1,4,5 table video and backglass display correct but no dmd. I attached log and ini log.txt PinballX.ini
  6. update: got backglass video displaying correctly but no matter what dmd will not display. I have tried every setting i can possibly tinker with and never works. The odd thing i have noticed is the AMD settings application shows the monitors #d different than windows. AMD settings shows the correct IDs but windows has 2 and 3 flipped. How does pinballX determine what monitor 1,2, or 3 is? AMD settings show my DMD monitor as monitor 3 but setting display3 in pbx settings shows nothing. Again, any help would be appreciated.

  8. Is there a specific file name and / or file type for PBX startup video to work or do you just simply drop an mp4 in the folder?
  9. if you have a backglass video working in pinballX for the table you need to disable the native pinball FX2 backglass so that the video from pinballx keeps playing. There is not native support for videos in FX2 at the moment.
  10. When i change them to 1,2,3 in the setting gui it puts the playfield on the 3rd monitor and the other 2 are blank. If i edit the .ini with 1,2,3 it shows the playfield on correct screen and the other 2 are blank. While the ini has screens labeled 1,2,3 opening the GUI shows 1,3,4 ( this is odd )
  11. wheel images for each table, table videos and / or table images display correctly
  12. just some more info. Attached is screenshot of display settings in windows. Another not i have checked 10 times to make sure the images are named correctly.
  13. in the pinballfx2 image those settings position everything correctly
  14. I'm new to the pincab scene and have a peculiar issue I would love some help with. As of now I only have PinballFX2 enabled in PinballX. When browsing through the pinballfx2 tables in pinballx the table images or table videos play fine. The Backglass images and DMD images / videos never display in the PinballX frontend. When launching the tables the backglasses and DMD stuff works fine inside pinballfx2. This is a 3 monitor setup with 3 screens Display 1 - 1920x1080 Playfield 270 degree rotation Display 2 - 1920 x 1080 BackGlass Display 3 - 1600 x 900 DMD In windows the screens are labeled as listed above. I noticed in pinballx.ini the monitors have the same numbering but when you go into the settings program it shows them as 1,3,4 attached pinballx.ini as well as screenshot of settings gui [Interface] ShowSystem=False DesktopModeEnabled=False EnableAdditionalDetail=False [Backglass] UseB2S=False x=1921 y=0 width=1919 height=1080 monitor=2 AutoPositionB2S=False [KeyCodes] quit=27 left=37 right=39 select=13 rotate=82 pageleft=33 pageright=34 exitemulator=81 screenshot=83 screenshotbackglass=83 ingame=80 instructions=73 volumedown=109 volumeup=107 credit=53 plunger=164 [JoyCodes] Quit=10 Left=0 Right=1 Select=2 Rotate=11 PageLeft=3 PageRight=4 ExitEmulator=12 InGame=13 Instructions=14 Credit=15 Plunger=16 [Text] Line1=Free Play Line2=Press Start Featuring=Featuring Tables=Tables All=All PlayGame=Play Game Instructions=Instructions Information=Information Flyer=Flyer Gameplay=Gameplay Tutorial=Tutorial ExitGame=Exit Game ReturnToGame=Return to Game Return=Return Exit=Exit Shutdown=Shutdown [VisualPinball] WorkingPath=C:\Program Files (x86)\Visual Pinball TablePath=C:\Program Files (x86)\Visual Pinball\Tables Executable=VPinballX.exe AutoConfigure=True Enabled=False [SetupWizard] EmuPath1=C:\Emulators AssetPath1=C:\Assets RomPath1=C:\Roms DefaultPathPrompt=True DownloadDatabasePrompt=True DownloadEmulatorPrompt=True WizardMode=1 CustomArray= SearchArray= SavePosition=False SectionIndex=4 SearchText= EmulatorIndex=0 EmulatorGroupIndex=0 DaphneIndex=0 HTMLAppsIndex=0 ExternalAppsIndex=0 RadioStationsIndex=0 NewsFeedsIndex=0 MappedDrivesIndex=0 SystemIndex=0 ShowPanel=True FontSize=1 WindowState=2 WindowSize=650,479 WindowLocation=248,145 [Internal] lastwheelcachematchsize=0 lastselected=DoomBETHESDA_DoomPinball FX2 filter_year= filter_company= filter_custom= filtername=Tables [Display] windowed=False rotate=270 WheelAutoCrop=False PlayFieldBrightness=250 [DMD] monitor=3 x=4040 y=250 width=1200 height=400 Enabled=True HidePinMAME=True AutoPositionPinMAME=False [FuturePinball] Enabled=False [Plugin_1] Enabled=False Name=PlugInLED.dll [Plugin_2] Enabled=False Name=PlugInSpeech.dll [Plugin_3] Enabled=False Name=QuickLaunch (PinballX Edition).dll [Plugin_4] Enabled=False Name=Xpadder Plugin.dll [PinballFX2] Enabled=True WorkingPath=C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam Executable=steam.exe Parameters=-applaunch 226980 "[TABLEFILE]" Process=Pinball FX2.exe WaitFor=11 [GameListManager] onlinemode=false Any help is greatly appreciated.
