  1. Never mind worked this out, I had to remap the controller in steam as a keyboard to get it to work.
  2. I am having a small issue with mapping the right joystick in side of settings.exe, it can't see the SteamLink controller. Any suggestions?
  3. Yeah too easy, it's just two batch files... you could have more for more setups. But in my case, I just wanted to either run in "VR" mode or "Steam" Mode. Make a backup of your PinballX.ini file from the config folder, call it PinballX_Backup.ini. Load up the Settings.exe program, and configure PinballX to your liking. Copy the Pinball.INI File to what ever you wish to know it as, In my case I used a Steam.INI & VR.INI Make sure your batch files have the right INI in the copy command start_steam.bat @ECHO OFF CLS CD C:\Games\PinballX\Config DEL PinballX.ini COPY Steam.ini PinballX.ini CD C:\Games\PinballX\ pinballx.exe start_vr.bat @ECHO OFF CLS CD C:\Games\PinballX\Config DEL PinballX.ini COPY VR.ini PinballX.ini CD C:\Games\PinballX\ pinballx.exe I could have got more creative, but I was only after a quick solution and this worked.
  4. That solution actually works perfectly for what I need, can't believe I didn't think of using two different batch files to swap the INI files around. Legend!
  5. So, I have a scenario where I want to run two different setups for PinballX .... one where its being used in 'VR' Mode and another via SteamLink without VR. The issue I am having is finding a way to launch PinballX and tell it which PinballX.ini file to use. I am pulling whats left of my hair out tryin to work this out. I don't really want to run two copies of PinballX if possible.
  6. I am at a loss, I recently updated Pinball X and now none of the playfield tables I made (MP4) play anymore. These videos (1920x1080 MP4) had been displaying fine since November last year when I set it all up. Nothing else has been changed on the system other than doing the PinballX update. Interestingly the PinballX update caused other issues, my 3rd monitor vpinmame displays were all without sound and the sizing is now out as well.
  7. So I've been working away setting up my PinballX cab that I built myself and ran into an issue with switching the primary display and secondary display around for using the backglass screen for some other games in full-screen mode.. After a lot of searching I came across this nifty tool that also has command line interface. http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/multi_monitor_tool.html I have yet to try it, but am hoping it will provide the solution I need. Has anyone else tried it? Or does anyone else have other suggestions for switching primary display.
