  1. PinballX is awesome! ... and that comes after years of use and trying other alternatives. A possible enhancement would be to selectively disable the Topper for a game while still in the PinballX menus. Essentially treating that particular game as if the Topper was disabled in the overall Pinball settings. Why? If you already have some DMD media that you want displayed in both PinballX and while playing and need the full screen used for DMD,to correctly display it (e.g. aspect ratio), the problem arises when the screen is shared with the topper. The problem is worse when the topper media available is not something you want for that game. However, there may be other games where the topper media is desirable and the DMD media is fine with a reduced aspect ratio. Unfortuantely today you need to choose or come up with some hybrid PUPpack arrangement. An option would be to add an option in the Game Manager next to Hide Topper to disble the Topper for that game. Of course even without this enhancement, PinballX remains the best choice ... THANKS. Thanks for moving this to the right thread .
  2. Thanks for an awesome frontend. With this release the backglass images in the PinballX Media directories do not display in the position specified in the settings. The backglass videos position correctly. Specifically, the backglass position is set to Display 2, X=0, Y=350, Width= 1080 & Height=1000. The backglass videos will position and size correctly, but the backglass images will position as if Y is set to 0. Settings.ini file attached. Everything else seems to work fine (as usual). BTW ... Both the setup program and text on playfield display show a version number of 3.28. PinballX.ini
  3. Thanks. Turning off "Auto Position DirectB2S" worked for me. FYI ...The issue arose for me after installing a second graphics card in my cabinet and assigning the Backglass and DMD to one card (the slower one) and the playfield to the other. Although PinballX saw the Backglass as the second display (as configured in Nvidia console) and as it was with the single graphics card, VP did not (versions 10.2, PhysMod, 9.92, 9.21). To get it to work screenres.txt needed to have the backglass assigned as display 1 with a 1920 offset in the X position (still don't understand why). WIth "Auto Position DirectB2S" enabled, PinballX would overwrite the change. The DMD on display 3 worked fine and the playfied on display 1 worked fine in all scenarios.
