  1. Yep, Shermo! That's the one! The Batman one is definitely worth playing, even if it is $1.
  2. I don't think MAME has covered these games yet, since they are pretty recent. However, I'm curious if it will happen in the near future. What do you think? I'd certainly like to see it. Especially since they cost a dollar to play, wherever you find them. Remember when arcade games only cost 25 cents? I'm not sure if you guys have heard of them. They make arcade games like "Terminator: Salvation" and "ALIENS: Armageddon." Both are shooting games that have guns mounted on them. They also make a "Batman" driving game, with a seat and steering wheel, and you can choose from pretty much every batmobile in existence. Has anyone ever heard of these games? Any other games by "Raw Thrills" that I didn't mention? Do you think there will ever be emulator support or MAME support to play them? I'm really getting tired of paying a dollar to play these games. I miss the 80s and 90s. Even then, the 50 cent price tag for certain games was only temporary.
  3. Ugh... good lord. The command for the .bin file was improperly named. It's fixed. I panicked because I went through all my roms and fixed them before, and I just happened to click on the one I missed. Okay, let's try this again. The plugin works, I goofed for a second, and I'm glad I could help with the plugin testing. Feeling better now.... I'm calm... Doing the happy dance.
  4. Ok... it's something on my end...... so far everything works, but one rom doesn't, and it used to work before. All the roms are in the same location.
  5. Since 2015 is upon us, I'll be really pissed if we don't have flying cars, Mr. Fusion, and Hoverboards by Wednesday, October 21st.

  6. I hate to tell you this...... but I'm having the same problem I did before, now that I updated it. Unless it's something I overlooked on my end.
  7. Personally, I agree with the others, in regards to wireless xbox360 controllers. However I only use 360 controllers with newer games or games on MAME. When playing retro emulators in GameEx, the best controllers to use are the real thing. Luckily, I saved all my old controllers from back in the day, and found USB adapters for them. For example, I won't play a Super NES game from the 90s, unless I'm using a Super NES controller from the 90s. The adapters are between 10 and 20 bucks (U.S dollars), and you can find them on eBay. I've tried newer retro controllers that look like the real thing (3rd party clones), and it just doesn't feel the same. Not sure if you have looked into them. If you don't have any retro controllers, try eBay. Or if you want to play it safe, buy a 3rd party clone and the adapter, or the retro USB built-in that you mentioned earlier. Of course, a wireless NES controller would indeed be pretty badass.
  8. Lighty's Christmas Tips: Wear a mistletoe belt buckle, and tell your partner that it's time for the kiss under the mistletoe.

Clearly romance is not on your agenda - otherwise you'd have put some lavender in your belt =P

  9. Merry Christmas, from your friendly neighborhood "Lighty!"

  10. SUCCESS! You sir, are man of the year! Also works with debug mode off! Dude, you have my highest thanks for all your time and effort.
  11. Yea, that's the directory I have the roms in. Each rom is also in a sub folder within, all named after their appropriate rom.
  12. Sweet! I'm a beta tester! lol. Same result, but here's the newest log file contents. The settings file was deleted beforehand, as well as the same usual steps were performed:
  13. Same result, but whatever changes were made might help you narrow down a few things. If this needs to be done multiple times, it's totally cool. I'm patient, as long as it helps you. LOG FILE: BATCH FILE: chcp 65001@ECHO OFF C:\CD "C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Lite"DTLite.exe -mount scsi, 0, "[RomPathFull]"
  14. I'm hangin' tight, bud. You've been putting in a lot of time and effort as it is, and I very much appreciate it.
  15. Unfortunately it was the same result. I did the same thing exactly as before step by step. Copied the new plugin file, checked for debug mode in the plugin config window and clicked "save", tried to load the game in GameEx, didn't work, copied log file and batch file contents without going back to config: BATCH FILE: chcp 65001@ECHO OFF C:\CD "C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Lite"DTLite.exe -mount scsi, 0, "[RomPathFull]" LOG FILE:
  16. Okay. I did everything above in the proper order, and used the plugin file you just provided. Launching the game didn't work, and I didn't go back to the drive loader config before copying the contents of the log file: There was a batch file in the same folder the log file was in and it was called "lastmount". I right clicked "edit" to view its contents in notepad: chcp 65001@ECHO OFF C:\CD "C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Lite"DTLite.exe -unmount scsi, 0
  17. If you mean the dtloader text file, in C:\GameEx\PLUGINS\DT Loader, this is what it said: 12/23/2014 8:04:17 PM : Virtual Drive Loader (Version: 1.1.1)12/23/2014 8:04:17 PM : XML: XML file was loaded OK!12/23/2014 8:04:17 PM : Building emu list... That's where it ends.
  18. Here's what I just copy-n-pasted. Maybe there's a punctuation error: ePSXe.exe -nogui -slowboot [DTLOADER-SCSI]
  19. I do have the new one. Also just deleted the settings XML. I tried running a game in GameEx, same result. Then I went to the virtual drive plugin window, and the LAUNCH BAT FILE button was blanked out, so I couldn't click on it. It also said "LAST RUN: No Data Yet" on the bottom. I must have forgotten something on my end.
  20. Ok. Here's what I tried. I got rid of the virtual drive in daemon tools, so there were no drives at all. Then I added a new one, so it said [sCSI - 0] (J:) and it would be the only drive there, and would have the same drive letter as before, except this time it would say SCSI - 0 instead of SCSI - 1. Then I kept daemon tools open, then opened the original ZIP file you sent me, extracted the .bat file, double-clicked it, and it worked. I didn't do "Run as Administrator" but it still worked. After I double-clicked the .bat file, Alien Trilogy mounted itself onto the Virtual Drive J: in daemon tools (the only virtual drive present). The game still won't launch in GameEx, (which I tried after I unmounted the game in virtual drive J: first, so it would be open and ready), but I'm assuming we'll get to that a little later, if not next.
