  1. Well I clearly have no idea what I'm doing. After reading this thread a bit I'm supposed to compile an exe that will execute VP and record the images for me. Problem is I have no idea how to compile the script to an exe. Looking for help or other options. I'd love to be able to contribute to the VP community by making play field, back glass and DMD videos.
  2. Hey guys. Am I reading this right? I can use the script in the OP to capture video for use in PinballX previews, right? What if I have a real DMD? Will I need to attach a third monitor to the system temporarily to capture the DMD? Been trying to figure out how to make some video for some tables I have that are missing them. Thanks all!
  3. Tom, question. How does PBX close VP? Force it shut? Ask it to close? When my machine was acting up I could never get the LED's to stay on when I started/stopped games within VP so I'm jsut curious as to what might be hanging? Its got to be something within the B2S server, right?
  4. No offense taken. Just posting what I did to get it working.
  5. That file ownership thing had me a bit perplexed too. I actually had to go into a command prompt window to delete the files, windows wouldnt let me do it no matter what I did.
  6. Curious, did you try what I did? Uninstall all of PBX and its files and reinstall it? Remember to save your media and xml files... Those will get removed too.
  7. I am using the exe contained in the download from your website and no, I do not have a clear script running to kill the LED's.
  8. Hey all. I was having the LED's staying on problem with 1.87 when I updated it yesterday as well. I thought it was because I had multiple copies of PBX all over my machine but I guess that wasnt it. Anyway, I saved what I knew that I was going to need (all the media files and my .xml config files) to another directory and then deleted PBX first through Windows control panel and then the folder(s). I actually had to take ownership of a dll or ocx file in order to delete it, odd.... After it was all gone I re-installed 1.87 and now it works fine. LED's go dark on table exits as they should. I dont have a pause button on my machine but I should add one... Would be nice to have.
