I use full exclusive mode that's why i suggested naming your b2s the same as the rom name I have no issues with the backglass showing when launching with pinballx Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

Ensure that your table name in pinballx game manager is the same as the table file in your tables directory.

I have an exit, pause, start, launch ball and plunger button. I use my flipper buttons to change tables in pinballx. I also have a button wired behind the coin eject button on my coin door to add credits.

Usually what I found is a naming issue when it tries to launch then just comes back into pinballx. I know you said you have the names set correctly just triple check. Also in pinballx make sure your have the correct directory path set for where your vpx tables directory is.

Not sure if this helps but I read in another thread if your using windows 10 then windows defender could be causing the issue. Ensure your folders are excluded from windows defender or disable windows defender
