  1. No wait. The system provides the possibility to create menus by categories. "SetupWizard" entry "custom lists path". Here you put the .ini files that contain the roms. If you create a file as I wrote above you should see the new entry with the 1941 rom. The new entry is created but empty.
  2. Make a simple test for me on your system: Create a file name "test.ini" and put in the UI mame folder (for custom menu). Put in this file: [FOLDER_SETTINGS] RootFolderIcon = cust1.ico SubFolderIcon = cust2.ico [ROOT_FOLDER] 1941 Refresh the game list. When restart a gameex you see the menu "test" but it's empty. gameex.ini
  3. I see that some rom are hidden in custom folder. I make many and many test but I don`t find the bug. I watch the file with VIM, I see the permission of file, I see the rom and other. Test it. If you create a file: test.ini in the custom folder. Refresh the list. The test menu it`s empty. I have this problem with many roms. [FOLDER_SETTINGS] RootFolderIcon = cust1.ico SubFolderIcon = cust2.ico [ROOT_FOLDER] 1941 log.txt
  4. The custom list: ------------aerei.ini: is displayed correctly with all rom [FOLDER_SETTINGS] RootFolderIcon = cust1.ico SubFolderIcon = cust2.ico [ROOT_FOLDER] 1941 pc_1942 1942 1943kai 1943 1943mii 1944 The custom file ---------pacman.ini: Is displayed as empty [FOLDER_SETTINGS] RootFolderIcon cust1 SubFolderIcon cust2 [ROOT_FOLDER] 20pacgal 25pacman All rom exists in the rom folder. GameEx.ini
  5. I put several files in the correct folder. They are all listed in the manu but some present the list of games while others give me an empty list. background_log.txt log.txt SetupWizard.log
  6. Thank's, I attach the file. log.txt GameEx.ini
  7. Dear all, I use the custom list ini file for mame category. I put the file in the "custom_folder" and I configure it in the setting. I reload the game. I see the category but it's empty. Other custom list have some game and other are empty. Why? This is my street fighter custom list. [FOLDER_SETTINGS] RootFolderIcon = cust1.ico SubFolderIcon = cust2.ico [ROOT_FOLDER] hsf2 kenseim mshvsf sf sfa2 sfa3 sfa sfex sfexp sfex2 sfex2p sf2 sf2ce sf2hf sfiii2 sfiii3 sfiii sfz2al sfz3ugd sftm ssf2mdb ssf2t ssf2 xmvsf
  8. I install GameEx Arcade Draconus Theme but I have the font size small (monitor CRT 15hz) and when I enter in a category and go back I have not the background. Some can help me?
  9. AllowImperfect=True it's the solution. Thank's for all. Great Support.
  10. Sorry for my english. I use the groovymame last version. My problem it's that some rom (coincidentally they are all soccer games), inserted in my custom lists, are not displayed. If I insert the name of this rom in the "Dont Filter these ROMS" I see it in the menu of my custom list.
