  1. Thanks for your help! Found the option in the menu, disabled it and it's gone. (I was trying to find it iin some xml_file without succes but it was much easier :-) ) The not-showing in the game manager is a bug I guess, not a big problem as I do know when adding tables I need to add a wheel and will defenitely miss it when running PBX but just a minor thing. Again, thanks and will have a look at the PBXdb manager!,
  2. Hello, just installed 5.19, great it has animated wheel (.apng) support however the game manager tells that the Wheel is missing in the list although it is assigned and in PBX itself it shows fine, So it is just the game manager : both it says it is missing (under the dropdown menu) and it is not showing the wheel (only in manager, as said, when running PBX 5.19 it is fine) Then: when exiting now there is an option to totally reboot the PC! Didn't have it with my previous version and I really do not want that. Is it possible to disable this function (plus I do not see why there would be such a drastic functionality with PBX anyway, very user_unfriendly...) Thanks!
  3. Hello, as an addition to the above suggestion: can I ask for a '60's table list (where there is also 70's, 80's 90's , modern, Bally, Williams etc)? Would be nice to look up some older EM-games in the ever growing table list! Even better: if it could be a dynamic list: if on a setup only 70 and 90's tables are there: list shows only these entries. When 50, 60, 70 etc tables are there then the list will change accordingly. But adding a 60's would also be a step forward, (I looked around on my PC but couldn't find a XML file where I can adjust the list myself (may-be there is?) Thanks!
  4. no problem, see attached files..
  5. Here you are although same sitiation as before in prev post. This is what I did for the test: - started PBX, browsed to Atlantis (so far so good, all dmd screen change with tables, both static ones and displaymovies) then I start Atlantis, in the game manager is set that the display stays on (not hidden). Play Atlantis, Exit Atlantis and browsing again through tables will not change the dmd anymore.| When starting a real dmd-table (like I did with Austin Powers) when the table is initializing the correct Austin Powers display comes up so, as far as my knowledge goes, there is no problem in communication or hang-up. 6. Hello, thanks for all the updates and the hard work on it. The issue I brought up before as I saw in 3.28 is still there....any chance to have a look? Thank you!
  7. Hello, when I am in the -list- menu where I can choose tables of a specific era or brand I do miss the option 1960 ('s) as the oldest selection of tables starts from the 70-s. I looked everywhere if there is a xml-file where I could add this but couldn't find it so the question is: is it possible to add this category (myself)? Thanks!
  8. Hello, now there I see a strange thing happening in 3.28: Situation: For my pin2dmd I have 2 kind of files: static ones: a company logo picture for use with non-dmd tables and non-static ones: dmd movies for dmd tables. When browsing through all tables in PBX select mode everything is fine: dmd changes as installed with the game manager So, then I want to play a EM, non-DMD machine: the pin2dmd shows a (static) company logo. I press play, table is being loaded and as I did uncheck the 'hide DMD' option in the game manager the company logo remains visable on the pin2dmd, so far so good. During gameplay, everything ok but.... When exiting the table the table exits and PBX comes up again allowing the company logo on the pin2dmd, that's ok but: when changing to an other table (no matter what kind of media there is for the pin2dmd:) this company logo won't change any more, the display is 'frozen'. So, I browse to an other table, the display still has this company logo from the once started table and won't change. Other media (table and BG and topper) will change. When starting a dmd-table from PBX the display from VPX comes back alive within VPX and I can play the table. Exiting this table will bring up PBX again and the display is working like it should, when browsing tables the pin2dmd changes like the other media. Now...I did not have this problem before but I did a fresh and new install of my total setup so no fancy things. I did try to replace the dmddevice.dll which comes with the pinballx setup with the one from the official pin2dmd but no change. The company logo's I'm talking about are 128*32 PNG files and do work fine execpt that it seems that PBX won't 'get-back-in-control' with the pin2dmd when exiting a table and 'hide dmd' in the game manager is unchecked. Any suggestions? Thanks for the support! log.txt PinballX.ini [SETTINGS].log
  9. Ok, thank you for the support. I will see if PBX /64 has benifits over the /32, now I experience a faster response (my pc is not that fast) but may-be the new version (I'm on 3.12) will also be faster in /32 and then I have best of both worlds. Only thing I can not explain is that the plugin in the plugin manager and test mode runs fine in Win /64 but not in pbx/64 so (for me) it seems that the plugin itself is capable running in /64 mode. But, it's fine, no issue, either I can choose /32 with led's or /64 without, both are fine. Thanks!
  10. Got it, thank you. now...is there a 64-bit plugin for PBX which enables DOF- functionality when browsing tables? As I see it here: LED-plugin is the one doing this and it was written by Tom... However...this does work on my 64 bit machine as stand alone...only not within PBX... Thank you!
  11. Thanks for your support Draco. **Update ** Got it non-crashing! Not sure what it was but.... I was installing the new version over the old one., then it gave me the crash. Then I decided to empty the PBX working directory (but mot the media and other folders). I could not delete flash.ocx, the PC says I need rights for it I do not have (although I am admin on this PC...) But I could rename this file which I did. Then installed PBX/64 again and...no crash!! But...also no lights any more. Now, not a big problem but it would be nice to have them back when changing a table. These plug ins are installed as the manager tells, the first 2 are enabled normally and normally with the /32 these give me the DOF-lights. I I must say that the /64 works a lot faster then the /32 on my machine, wheels are being displayed much faster now so that is an advantage. Do I need an other plugin for having some DOF-effects? BTW: when I run the plugin manager now seperately and I click on the LED-plugin manager and I say 'test' then the lights are on so the plugin seems to work as a stand alone (so it works on /64) but not within PBX 3.12) Not a very big issue but...would be nice-to-have-them-back Thank you!
  12. Hello, (first a word of thanks for all the PBX releases, the new functionality and the great support nowadays....great, thanks!) Now... Running VPX/32 bit is working fine now: including pin2dmd support. However, re-installing it as a 64 bit program gives some problems (machine is W7/64). I do see that PBX does execute my defined startup-command (changing resolution and orientation of the pf screen) so PBX is launching but after that, just a windows screen as nothing happened: PBX crashed fully. Looking into the log it gives an error on loading 2 plugins. That might be the problem then (may-be these plugins are not 64 bit?) but...how can I tell/read from the log which 2 plugins are giving this problem? (so, to make clear: ... running pbx AND these plugins in 32 biit do work fine). Thank you! log.txt PinballX.ini
  13. Hi Tom, well....as you ask it that way...I guess not :-) I did use the total package installer as comes with the 3.07 download but do I need these files also? Can you pls tell me where I can find those then I'll give it a new try, thank you!
  14. Hello, same problem here but I have some additional info. Updated from 2.96/32 to 3.07/64 : Install works fine, asks for a reboot, did that. When starting PBX the screen rotates 90 degrees (as I dit tell PBX in the start line command to start iRotate) and then....nothing, the same windows home-screen as was before starting PBX. Looking into the Taskmanager doesn't show PBX (to say: even when closing PBX in 2.96 it remains active as a program in the taskmanager....) See the init and log files for the 64 bit error attached Then I switched to 3.07/32 bit: Program does start but no (pin2dmd) display. However...starting i.e. Funhouse won't start the backglass (where starting FH directly in VPX it does). I hoped this would have been solved in 3.09 but, at least in /32, it isnt. I do know there are more people having this same problem. It's not only with FH but there are some more (not that many, I guess 2 or 3 out of 200) but I test it with FH. 2nd try: after this 3.07/32 install I replaced my working, existing dmddevice.dll from the 2.96 version to the 3.07 (overwriting it) but, as it was exectly the same one what was already in, it did not have any effect. Also attached the log and ini files from the /32 setup. And as the error might be in Dutch I did more/less translate it for you. Reverting now to 2.96...everything ok.... and, btw, tried the install a number of times, all same result. Thanks for your help! log 32.txt PinballX 32.ini PinballX 64.ini log 64.txt
  15. GREAT! Thank you Tom...that was it..... unchecked these boxes and it worked.... only needed to exchange the XDMD.dll from the PBX package with the one from pin2dmd and now it functions like 2.42...thanks!
