PINemHi version 1.3.2 This includes lots of color roms and the newer stern roms. You can overwrite the version in the pinballx folder but before you do it is wise to rename the pinemhi.ini because you have to set the pathnames again in the new pinemhi.ini. If you also have added stuff in replays.ini then you shouldn't overwrite that one (but i don't think that's the case). All romnames are based on vpinmame 3.2 In case you don't know PINemhi is used for extracting the hiscores out of the nvrams and fprams so you could use them in the frontend. Pinballx installation already has pinemhi in it but that is an older version. Thanks go out to @scutters as he woke me up out of hibernation and asked me to update... Okay , so I managed to get the hiscores from the online database (on start and exit of a game) It can produce (these can be set optionally in pinemhi leaderboard.ini): Top10 Personal Scores Best Personal Special Scores Top10 friend scores (you can set your friends in ini file) Top10 cup scores (it also let's you see your rank when you are not in the top10) Top10 best scores All these are written to directories under plugins\Pinemhi Leaderboard in different directories They are written as txt files under the romname. So best is to scan all dirs under Plugins\Pinemhi Leaderboard\ to find the romname.txt as you have multiple of them. also very handy if i add other scores under the main dir Plugins\Pinemhi Leaderboard\. Maybe these score outputs can be rotated on topper or perhaps it is also possible to add them on the information tab on table selection The output has been optimized to be displayed centered (score and usernames are all fixed length) I will add the plugin here , maybe someone can try it out......hopefully we'll see the online scores integrated in pinballx ... Hi Draco1962, If you mean the hiscore table then it would be no problem, as that information is already available (pinemhi) on the cabinet If you actually mean the pinemhi leaderboard (online scoring database) then i've got some work to do. That information would be coming from the online database (using a plugin perhaps with read-only rights user). Not my regular field of work but who knows maybe i can learn something in the proces That would be awesome though as you could have a top 10 score comparison with your friends or see your own hiscores (those that are not high enough for the hiscore table). Badges you've earned would be possible, challenges you did (maybe even challenges could be started from your cabinet)....but that would take some serious amount of time though

New version of pinemhi leaderboard plugin for pinballx, version 1.3.1 (read the instructions to get it working properly) This allows you to send hiscores to website www.pinemhi.com/hiscores.php to see how you score in comparison to others (normal scores as well as special scores , for instance loops,martians defeated). They don't have to be scores higher than the hiscores on the table though (except for the special scores).... You can also do challenges...and receive badges for certain achievements, and there is a cup standing. (also for country) I'm also in the proces of group creation. This will allow 2 to 10 players to only see their scores and cup standings to see who is the best player from this group (not there yet but soon, I hope) Dna Disturber

Hi rtkiii, this is a tool to display the hiscores without playing a game. some people use this to display it in the frontend so for instance you can go to the information screen in pbx and see the hiscores without starting the table. it's already in pbx but an old version...comes with the installation all the hiscores you see in pinballx come from this tool i also have created an online database where you can send your scores....doesn't have to be on the hiscore list on your cab/computer. You can start challenges there and you even get badges for certain things you have achieved. and you can compare your scores with others....you need to install a plugin for that..only thing is the newest version is not on this site yet. Will do that pretty soon...that one is called pinemhi leaderboard plugin.

Hi Wob, It's not an error , It really means that the rom is not supported (yet). I didn't put the color roms in , I wil put them on my todo list for the next release. Maybe they are the same as the non colored ones then it will be a pretty quick and an easy thing to do. If that is the case i will release an update soon with them in it. The roms mentioned in pinemhi.ini are in fact all the roms supported by vpinmame 3.0 That section is for frontends (like pinballx) to determine which rom is being used at the start of a game.

Hi, Just wanted to let you know that there is a new version of PINemHi released. This new version includes all the hiscores for the newer STERN roms (SAM) and is compatible with vpinmame version 3.0 You can overwrite the files in your pinballx directory , you only have to setup the paths in pinemhi.ini to your visual pinball and or future pinball directory's 1240 roms are supported for visual pinball and all for future pinball. Hi Tom, Great work again on the new release. Haven't really tested yet but one thing i did notice. In the setup there isn't an nvramdirectory which you have to set within the visual pinball section ? Just asking because it could break the hiscore feature Tia, Dna Disturber

In the xml file you can fill in the original name, the gamename is what is used to match the backglass, video's But a lot of people rename all the tables and that isn't necessary. You can just alter the xml when you have a new version of a game. Download name will be like attack_from_mars_fs_v1.3 and the gamename is attack from mars (bally 1995) Hope this makes sense. You can otherwise use the xml that came with pinemhi leaderboard and select the games with gamemanager to get a list of games for pinemhi. It will show in the menu as a separate list. It says how to use it in the instructions that came with it.

Added a little extra competition on the website. Country CUP You represent your country by raking up points. All points (vp9, vp8 , FS and 5minutes modes and of course Future Pinball) made are points for your country. You can also see who are the great contributors for a country (ranking them , so you know if you're the best of your country) I took the liberty of filling in the countries of players who are on vpforum (if they mention it on their userpage) Hope you don't mind....if so please say it and i'll remove you from the country-list Also please mention it if I made a booboo regarding which country you represent. If you aren't on it and you already have a user , just tell me and I'll add you to the country-list New users are asked to fill in which country they represent so that's gonna be fine.... Your country needs you !!!!!!!!! unless it's France because they hold the cup for now , with quite some margin (xio,ced and redafoe rule) Hope you like it

These tables are not supported.In the pinemhi leaderboard xml are the tables that are supported (including nofear and lotr) You can use the xml file by copying it to the databases dir and then under visual pinball Using gamemanager you can enable them. Just download the right tables and it should work.

No challenges needed to submit scores.....it's just an extra feature to make it fun

I can remember they had problems using the esc button...maybe you could try mapping the exit to another key?For instance the e button...

Isn't it possible to send the close vp and wait till vpm window has been closed and then go on with the rest of the actions? That would ensure that vpm closes correctly.

Hi Slashbot, The crash is with pinemhi , that is the one for the hiscores in pinballx (in the menu)....not sure why that is as i don't have any additional information The hiscores you made were being sent to the website however the tables are newer version of the ones supported. So glad you mentioned this....I'm not crazy after all I am testing submitting hiscores from pinballx , using plugin pinemhi leaderboard but every once in a while the score is the same as the previous one. So i kept thinking it was my program that did that......tried it out not using the plugin and indeed....the problem occurs. Maybe the exit method is causing this? Strange thing is it doesn't happen all the time (for me)

Hi headkaze, With mame you have so many different versions, if you use an older one the name of the rom could be totally different or the byteadresses are different. The roms used in vpinmame are pretty stable so to speak. A lot of the roms don't work anymore for hitotext as a result of changes, it was very difficult to maintain. I really liked working on hitotext but with every new release of mame some scores broke... And i have to find the first players scores from the roms as hitotext only gives the hiscores. But you never know...when i do i'll make sure to contact you.. First i want to add a lot more tables to this one and add future pinball support as well... Unit3d should also work as it works with vpinmame, only thing would be if the roms could be detected by pinballx and send to the pluginsystem. So that will take up a lot of my freetime i'm afraid. PS this plugin hadn't been here without the hitotext project , as the idea originated somewhat from it.....so your involvement early on with it certainly helped to make this
