  1. Issue resolved! The launch was invoking an "Open File Security Warning" window, that I was never able to see. The system wasn't broken, it was just waiting for input from me. I saw it as soon as I opened up Task Manager. Once I shut down PinballX Backglass and PinballX.exe, it was visible on the desktop. The mouse wouldn't enter the window, but I unchecked the box and saved the setting via the keyboard. Now, Pinball X is running as it shoud. Thank you to everyone for their time and input. As I expected, it was something small that I never would have considered and never left clues behind.
  2. Attached are my three XML files. They all exhibit the same behavior. Thanks for taking the time to help with this. Visual Pinball Physmod 5.xml Visual Pinball X.xml Visual Pinball.xml
  3. It does this with all tables. It seems like B2S Server isn't starting either, as I'm not getting a backglass.. Everything works fine if I run a table from the desktop. It is doing this with VP9, Physmod and VPX tables, alike. I'm not running PinMAME in the Front End. It is running the default "No DMD" video, except on the couple of tables Ive added color DMD vids for. I've stopped playing with them until I get the launch sorted out. I'm having the identical behavior from 4 different sets of XML, all of which I have run through the Hyperpin repair program, just to be sure. I hesitate to upload an XML file with over 650 tables... Thanks for the suggestions. Something is set wrong after taking out the 3rd monitor and plugging in the PinDMD3. The launch stopped working once the PinDMD started working in PinballX. When I find the problem it will undoubtedly be something small and simple that I' just can't see.
  4. I agree. however the "Loading": screen never goes away. Isn't that a function of PinballX? It exhibits the same behavior with the minimal varsion, as well.
  5. In your "Video" folder, you should have a video called "NoDMD." It is an animated PinballX logo that should play on your Pin3DMD in attract mode, when there is no file for that table to play.
  6. Since replacing my DMD monitor with a PinDMD3 and adding the color support versions of PinballX, the front end will no longer load tables. It sits at the Loading screen with nothing on the backglass or DMD. In menu mode it displays the color videos on the DMD properly and the PNG backglass. Attached are my ini and log files. the only thing I see that doesn't look correct to me is the "13:17:48.9 4/14/2016: Real DMD Intialized." It seems like PinMAME should be running that display. Any thoughts? PinballX.ini log.txt

Exiting 10:57:32.1 3/25/2016: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown. This is today's log, created using the new MP5 version of the videos. Looks like 8 GB of RAM isn't cutting it anymore. Once again, the DMD played through 100% perfectly, then stopped. The backglass went blank, the Pinball X video began to play on the DMd, and then PinballX crashed to the desktop. Let me know if you need anything additional or if you want me to try anything else. Regards, Dave
  8. Okay, This is a little bit complicated. Game manager puts the files in "Real DMD Videos." They will not run from there. If you move them to "Real DMD Color Videos;" or create one, since the install only makes one in the primary VP folder, they run really well. They look very nice and will execute one time. Then the DMD goes back to the Pinball X Logo animation and about ten seconds later an error message pops up. "Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. Not enough storage is available to process this command." Hitting "Continue" crashes PinballX to the desktop.
  9. Lucky1, would you be so kind as to share the color DMD frames you are using for America's Most Haunted.  Now that UltraDMD has gone color, I suspect I can just replace the current ones with your color ones and have it work with PinDMD3.  I guess I could color the ones I have, but why reinvent the wheel....  Thanks up front.  I'm really hoping we can develop  full compatibility between your project and PinDMD3.  The more people swapping ideas and developments, the better for all of us.

    Regards,

    Dave

  10. Original Demo works 100% with PinDMD3. Looks great! Now, how do we make it work in PinballX and the VP tables that use XDMD? Can we just copy the files into the appropriate directories or is there additional development required, now that we have verified function? Thanks to all involved for the time and effort. Regards, Dave

    B2S Backglasses

What are you using for a backglass right now? You can use the backglasses you are already using, as long as they aren't the exe older versions.
  12. Okay, I'm glad I wasn't quite as crazy as I thought I might be... I found the correct upgrade path and completed the transaction. I'm very happy to support the continued development of this excellent product. I use it every day and, thankfully, it is much more intuitive than the upgrade process. Thanks, again. Regards, Dave
  13. Thanks, but no problem finding the store, but there is no choice there (that I can find) that allows me to buy the upgrade. I can purchase another year for $8.00 or lifetime for $18.00, but no $10.00 upgrade.
  14. Tom, Perhaps it's me, but try as I might, I can't figure out how to pay you the upgrade price for the Lifetime Membership. I think it is a tremendously generous offer and I will take you up on it as soon as I am told how to get a $10 payment into your PayPal cart. Please advise. Thanks. Regards, Dave
  15. I can still only do playfields and not the backglass. I've tried changing the keys, but no success.
