One problem I'm having is with the blacks on the 3D models being transparent. GameEx is rendering the models like the attached images.

Yes, it seems to be fixed. Thanks to Tom for the quick turnaround. Strange about the Game Card game/screen shot mismatch. I do have a snap for joust2, so I think it's a bug.

I love the option to control the menus with the spinner. It's so fast! But here is one issue I've encountered: if I'm navigating with the spinner, GameEx will go intro the screen saver after the idle time. Relatedly, the spinner will not bring it out of the screen saver. That's not such a big deal, but having it go into screen saver while navigating the menus is a bit of a problem.

This is really a cool feature. Love it. But I am also not getting a picture. It would be cool to expand this to additional stats if possible, and maybe show your name instead of your tag.

Yes, that was the problem. It worked when I put in 121. Thanks. Is there a list of the virtual key codes somewhere?

Perhaps I missing something really basic here, but I can't get this to work. I changed the key code to 68 (F10) because I don't have a keyboard with a numpad on it, but when I hit F10 while in a mame game, nothing happens. Is some other setting conflicting with this function (like use CPWizard?) I also tried hooking up another keyboard and using the default numpad 5 key, but no luck. If it helps, log attached. log.txt

I had a similar issue in a different context. I found a little freeware program that converts .bat files into .exe files. Do that and have GameEx run the executable instead of the batch file. That solved the problem for me, but it was in a different context so I'm not sure if it will work for you. Can't remember the program, but you can probably find something with a Google search. If not, I can check tonight.

The Z: drive is not an external drive. It's just a second internal drive. But I have some more info about the problem. It turns out that the custom text item "Menu - MAME" is not the problem. That can be anything and things still work. But the custom text item "List - MAME" is a problem. When that is anything except "MAME" then the Favorites will be empty when you filter by System and choose your custom text.

It would be nice if you could set the favorites to default to a specific system, like mame. I have lots of favorites set for all the different emulators, but most of the time I just want to see the mame favorites, so I'd like that to be the default view instead of all games.

I changed the name of the Mame Menu in the text/language custom configuration. Now when I go into may favorites, the mame games are listed when I have all the favorites listed, but when I select "by system" and select mame (actually, select my custom title)it says "no games found." Is this a bug?

There is one spot where GameEx always chokes for me. Itâ??s after I pick a game from a list of games for a particular emulator, but before the game info screen comes up. The list of games and the videos comes up very fast, but then the game info screen for a particular game always brings up the â??please waitâ? progress bar. Iâ??d like to make this faster, but what is the source of the delay? 1. Itâ??s using a lot of CPU doing whatever its doing, so I need to upgrade the CPU 2. Itâ??s accessing the hard-drive a lot, so I need a faster hard drive 3. Iâ??ve got too many roms and videos, so I should get rid of some (but the list of games comes up fast.) 4. There is a setting in the Advanced Config for GameEx that I can change that will make this go faster 5. Something else I'm hoping its number 4! Thanks for any assistance!
