  2. I would like to have the lists unique for each system. ie have a favorite list but only have it for that particular system. now lists are shown under all systems.
  3. Thanks for the quick reply, I would think this would be fairly easy to implement, how do I request this feature. I think I asked this same question a few years back. I don't really see the purpose of having systems and lists, they are basically the same thing (just xml files under the database dir. I think others might want to have a favorites list under each system for instance. Thanks Just thinking if there is a way I can call a ahk script every time I choose a system and it can move list.xml files to basically do what I want. Not sure If I can do this without choosing a table and I know there is a way to pre and post launch sendkeys in the xml for each game, wondering if there is something like that for a system. The pre and post launch get executed when? This will work fine if it gets run when I choose a system. I will test this now. Thanks again I just want to a favorite list under each system, and only show that favorite list when I'm under that system (there is a limit of how many lists are show, so that is the reason) Thanks Mike for all your tables/help in this community, your awesome!
  4. I thought having an xml file under databases/system name/whatever.xml would only show up under lists if I was viewing "system name" and then show lists. I now see the same list under every system
  5. Thanks, that was it! Funny I thought that a while ago, but I thought I had disproven that. I guess my memory is completely shot. Thanks again

  7. I have a program that I wrote that manages my Visual/future/etc pinball tables. One of the features is to generate a xml file(s) for PinballX front end. I have a system called Visual Pinball 10 in PinballX, so I have a directory called Databases/Visual Pinball 10. In that I have a bunch of files to help organize my tables. I tried to have one named "VPX Pinup.xml", but that will not show up under lists. If I rename it to "Pinup.xml" it shows up. Any ideas?
  8. D/L this and updated/installed and my program shows 5.39???
  9. Has anyone gotten PinballX to run correctly with the VR version of VPX? I can get it to run 1 table without issues, but then I have all sorts of troubles after I quit. Wondering if its my setup or something else. Thanks I'm also having trouble with focus not going to vpinballx_gl.exe after launching from pinballx, an ideas?
  10. Not sure when this started, but I had 4.05 installed and it didn't tell me that there was a new version available. It used to. Thanks Tom, your the best Thanks my addiction has caused me to collect 2417 tables (complete with all artwork and Database stuff that tells me where and when I got the table Thank god I retired, I don't see anyone spending more time than me
  11. great support tom, you are the best! Hope you guys get this fixed
  12. I really like your ideas draco, I have written an AHK script to display my high scores on my topper along with displaying instruction cards & flyers (soon). My reasoning for doing this was that instruciton card and flyers should be installed under media/system in which it belongs instead of just under media. I understand why it was done that way, but storage is too cheap not to be more organized nowadays. I also did away with the Front/Back/Inside/etc folders and just went with table name, table name _1, table name _2, etc for naming of flyers. So much easier to find badly named files. Hope someday PinballX can do this also. Will post a video of my cab if anyone want to see it in action. Still to do is tutorial videos, jumping to IPDB web page for specific table. I asked if it was possible to grab joy buttons with a plugin to do all these things, but didn't get a response yet so I went the AHK route. Works suprisingly well.
  13. Can a plugin be written to capture a joystick button and do something like display message when button is hit? Thanks
  14. Can you post another video of this in action. I'm getting a 404. I think I want something very similar to this for a new project. Thanks
  15. I finally got my 4 screen setup to work with PinballX. It was not working correctly before, but I now have it working with PF = Displayport, Backglass =DisplayPort, DMD=Displayport, Topper = HDMI. Windows sees screen numbers as PF=2, Back=3, DMD=4, Topper=1. PinballX sees PF=1, Back=2, DMD=3, Topper=4. Really hate how windows assign monitor numbers. Hope my setup works for more than 1 week. Good luck
