  1. It is easy to build one. I ordered the U-HID G and leaf buttons from Ultimarc and bought the box from my local electronics shop. I printed the artwork on a large format Xerox at the office and a friend provided the plexiglass for the top. Using a dremel for the holes and a soldering iron for the cabling the whole project took about 4 hours. The box is a TEKO box (http://www.teko.it/) used for electronic projects and comes with a thin metal plate. You can easily make all kind of controllers with this, like my Dual Arcade Stick:
  2. Finished my Desktop Pinball Controller for use with Pinball X: It supports Manual Nudge with the top black/red buttons and Analog Nudge using the U-HID G (as seen in the middle of the box). Depending on the loaded profile you can activate Manual Nudge or Analog Nudge or both.
  3. I enter "(VP)" or "(FP)" at the end of each table description to distinguish between same tables, but a button to display them separately would be a nice addition.
  4. The ability to display separate lists for FP and VP tables. For example a selection/button for "Display FP Tables", "Display VP Tables" and "Display All". Or a way to indicate on screen that a table is a VP or FP table. It is a useful feature for those who use both FP and VP versions of the same table(s).
  5. Nice! Can you post the .ai or hi-res .psd file? I am building a pinball controller and i need a hi-res (min 300dpi) pinball related artwork for the top of it (30x20cm). Your logo will fit nicely! Thanks!
  6. The Game Manager doesn't store the Table Image in the Table Image Desktop folder when you use Desktop mode... that's why Table Images are not displayed.
  7. I setup a one table database using the Game Manager for F-14 Tomcat (Williams 1987). The filename of the table is: F-14 Tomcat (Williams 1987).fpt Imported the Wheel and Table Image using the Manager. The Wheel shows correctly, the table plays fine but the Table Image is not showing. The Game Manager doesn't report it as missing either and it is located in the Table Images folder. Is it a problem with the horizontal mode i am using? Or with the spaces in the filename?

    Screen Capture

PinballX v1.22 Screenshots (pressing S) appear totally black. Same as pressing Print Screen in FP. ATI 7870 with Catalyst 13.4
  9. v1.20 terminates after the logo is displayed. Nothing changed from the previous 1.18 i had installed
  10. I can, but i prefer to have each pinball table on a separate folder with the manuals, pics, libs, e.t.c. Also i haven't checked if some libraries of different tables have the same name, so replacing one with the other is going to cause problems.
  11. Just a quick question: when you set a folder location containing your Future Pinball tables, is it possible for PinballX to search into folders inside the tables folder? My current Tables folder looks like: Tables <folder> Bad Cats<folder> -> BadCats.fpt Star Trek<folder> -> StarTrek.fpt ... I tried changing the .xml to read: <game name="Bad Cats/BadCats"> but it didn't work...
