  1. After installing this afternoon and navigating to 4 or 5 menus, the entire system completely froze and I was required to reboot. The system has never done this to me before. I let it start up again, but havent been back to check on it yet. I follow up and post the log if I see it again.
  2. Great job! Can't wait for this feature! http://www.emulator-zone.com http://www.emulator-zone.com/rss_news.php MCE Portal: http://www.xpmce.com/ and of course for the developers: http://msdn.microsoft.com/rss.xml
  3. I agree. It would be a nice feature for those of us running many emulators/apps. It would probably be necessary to have this as an optional flag, as I am sure there are those who would still prefer the flat menu.
  4. Great news, we appreciate all the good work!
  5. Tom, This could be a feature request or just a "bug" fix. It would be nice to launch external programs from within gameex that would display over top. The reason I make this suggestion is that I often would like run File Explorer to browse and modify rom config files, copying default control setting, and such while I'm using your FE. Previously I would have to close and reopen Gameex anytime I needed to do that, and then I thought the new non-full screen feature of gameex would suit my needs. However, when I run gameex in a window, it "stays on top" of other applications and it does not let me drag it off screen either, preventing visual access to other running apps. So maybe it could just be a fix to not stay on top when running as a window. It is somewhat time consuming and annoying to have to close and reopen Gameex everytime i need an external windows function. If there is already a way to do this, or some setting I am missing, please let me know. May i also make a suggestion: It might be nice to have separate forums for Feature Requests and/or Bug Reports. Or do you already have another process for this? Thanks, Mace

    MAME Newsfeeds

Good idea. Just adding a an RSS plugin would be nice, where you could configure multiple rss feeds. Here's a nice feed for those interested: http://www.emulator-zone.com/ http://www.emulator-zone.com/rss_news.php
  7. Thanks for the quick feedback Tom. You've given me something to go off of for now.
  8. I believe i tried that, i was playing with all kinds of combinations of settings, but I will check it out and make sure. Before I went with .93, I was using an older version, dont know which one but it was several months old. It had the same issue. Does GameEx get the actual game list solely on the binaries output? or is there other processing and filtering going on?
  9. I'm having the same problem. I noticed yesterday when I went to play Galaga, and it's not listed! I can open up mame32 directly and find and play it, but not in GameEx. I think I have all the settings correct, show clones, no filter etc. I downloaded the latest versions(.93) and dat files and refreshed the list with no success. Any ideas?
