  1. You may want to try this XInput Wrapper for the PS3 controller - http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wrapper-for-DS3-and-Play-com-USB-Dual-DS2-Controller
  2. Those "does not exist" daemon tools lines in the setup wizard is normal in my experience. GameEx does see those lines and will launch before/launch after. As for magic engine, I had similar issues mounting cd games as well, so switched to using mednafen.
  3. This time of 15 seconds has been present for awhile now, so I am not suggesting that it is because of the latest update of GameEx. I'm not complaining, just thought that someone would have some good advice on how to decrease this time. I actually tried to disable all databases at one point by leaving the database entry in the setup wizard blank, but GameEx would still load them. Those factors you mention are probably the reason mine and krakermans startup times differ. (Krakerman having an I7 cpu, whereas I have a E6500 core duo, among other things) GameEx is running fine after the intial load, and I do prefer the load at the start, as opposed to how it used to be when selecting a game system entry. So props to Tom for this.
  4. Is there anything I could do to speed up GameEx at start? As you can see from my log file, it takes around 15 seconds. log.txt GameEx.ini
  5. I thought at first, that it is was that Texas had taken too much territory from Mexico
  6. This has been a HUGE help to me... thank you! What can I now use to batch rezip them? I would want them all individually 7-zipped.
  7. Mainly ease of use. I don't have to gather the games and all the other media myself. Also, I don't know much about some of these systems anyway, so it's great to just get a GameBase, set it up, then simply add it to GameEx.
  8. Having GameBase support in GameEx has saved me a lot of headache, so I am really thankful that it was added in. I remember headkaze mentioning an update to the theme editor, so fingers crossed that he has some gamebase surprises for us!
  9. 1. The custom layout ini should be named the same as what the GameBase DB is. We cannot have custom GameBase backgrounds at the moment, but I made a request. 2. Unfortunately there are no extra options we can use like we have with a normal emulator setup in GameEx 3. I'd like to know this too... with some GameBase's, I only have the title image showing, when the gameplay image would be better
