  1. And there we have it, member number 10,000!!!
  2. God's speed and Bon Chance, Draco. Make sure you keep up posted with some pics! Oh, how I love a build...
  3. So, I just spotted this at the bottom of the forum page. Total number of members: Wonder who'll be number 10,000???? And does he get a special prize? Man, that's a lot of subscriptions/queries/gripes to manage! And damn... EdCase missed it by 1!!!!
  4. Looks like this bug is infectious. The one thing I always loved about pedestal designs is the ability to use any size monitor you want. So... light-guns, anyone?
  5. Hmmm... this is something I'll have a look at in time. I ran across similar problems with Demul (Dreamcast) emulator. If yer into batch file coding, here's how I got round it with that. I'm wondering whether a similar approach could be taken with n/P64? http://www.gameex.info/forums/topic/14070-tool-autoloadsave-individual-game-configurations-with-nulldc/?p=117134
  6. Excellent news and most certainly deserved. This guy's a monster contributor, idea-smith, dedicate and thoroughly nice chap. Plus, this guy's knowledge about obscure developers is second to none! Good stuff, tthurman and look forward to further, future collaborations. Oh, and have a peanut: Are we nearly there yet?

    PCSX2 Peeps

Just an update on this. Just got round to doing a full re-setup of all my ps2 games. Thought I'd give PCSX2Bonus a go. On: a) In bonus it seems just the same as Lunch in that all you do is point towards the new pcsx2 exe - I'm predicting Bonus may have the same probs as Lunch when a new build uses significantly updated plugins B ) Sadly (despite asking on the Bonus thread donkey's years ago) there is NO option to batch generate exe's. Therefore you have to go through your games 1 by one to create exes. OK if you've got 2 games. Not OK if you have a number. I suppose this is the danger of using an emu still under development. I'm gonna stick with Lunch and accommodate its idiosyncrasies, because bonus has less features and think suffers the same setbacks. All these problems caused by a ROTTEN TRICK by Nvidia - their new drivers 'broke' PCSX2 - making games jump and stretch. Countless people have reported this to them, but they refuse to tackle due to "their policy on emulators." Shame on you, Nvidia. Next cab - I'm off AMD.
  9. Been ages since I touched all my emulator settings so can't check atm. However, few ideas: Is Demul one of those "double escape" to exit emulators? Seem to remember one like this. If so - easy - theres a setting somewhere to send another key (in this case Esc) after a wait. Their will be more details somewhere Sorry if this is a wild goose chase. I really should be more helpful with emu setups etc, but not spending a lot of time on that aspect at the moment. Good luck, brother.
  10. It's gonna be horses for courses, innevitably... However, I'm still loving The Room (onto The Room 2). Kinda puzzle corssed with Myst with well rendered graphics and atmosphere. Oh, and then there's Candy Crush.
  11. I'm always a dollar short and a day late.... Despite that, many happy returns to both. Like G-Force or Batman, although his appearances are brief and fleeting, he always gets the job done.... fRequEnCy aint a bad chap, either...
  12. Like that idea of the pulsing marquee lights. Good job!
  13. Fair cop, tthurman. Im the own conductor of my eternal disatisfaction.. Will check that null. And know what you mean, daz. Candy crush is the 'bread and circuses' of android. True hardcore retro mobile gaming would be snake on the old Nokias
  14. Never thought I'd get into "mobile gaming" but absolutely loving some recent android games. One I've been playing tonight was phenomenal in temrs of polish, playability and presentation : The Room. Another recent was The Silent Age. Dunno what it is about games like this. Its a bit like indie titles on xbox- loved brothers and limbo. These games are all short but oh soo sweet. Obvious the developers are passionate about their craft rather than factory farming titles. And reasonably priced too. Only thing is with these games is I'm always left wondering why the authors didnt extend the games with dlc given the back ends are there... cummon.. more limbo and brothers please.... Anyone else digging android atm? Are there any android emulators for windows? Of course, id have to add multi touch screen, tilt sensors and whutever else tablets have to my cab. Could be a job....
  15. Sad news. Though the spirit can present as flighty, the soul beneath can run tortured.... One Hour Photo for me - true measure is when someone is asked to perform out of type-cast. Rest, indeed Robin.
  16. Ahhh OK. My tech aint too polished when it comes to hardware, but given Evo's gonna be super flashy and hungry - might be worth putting that install on the ssd? The again, I may be waffling through me hat...
  17. Stoopid thing is, I never really play games anymore....only when I'm testing something out on my setup. Maybe when I retire... Glad to be of mirth, null
  18. Oh the personal shame.... I used to love Level 9 adventures - Worm in Paradise etc.... how could I not know that? > Examine Personal Pride Your personal pride appears a little dented and jaded..... > Get pride The heard of lions rumbles past majestically. > Not that type of pride! I'm sorry, I don't understand > **** *** ******* *** ******* No need to swear.
  19. Ha! I now see logos wherever I go. That room was dreamglue. And that's one bonkers vid - wtf is a "Grue"?
  20. All source images to date uploaded to the GameEx FTP Site There are two folders in there: Original uploads - This contains 'raw' original source images such as screenshots, boxarts, ads etc. Final Set - The final set of source images. There had to be a bit of personal choice in this. Very basic editing - cropping, slight up-scaling and some filter application (e.g. HQ4 or something - de-pixelates) I know the latter won't be to everyone's tastes, but people can always revert to the original images. In the Final Set folder - there's also a .txt file entitled Progress Log - running log of updates etc... Hope someone can find a use for it.
